The rapid growth of data traffic has promoted the development of optical communication.In order to improve the quality of communication,from long-distance optical fiber transmission links to short-distance access networks,and even short-distance rack to rack,backplane,chip to chip and chip Optical interconnections on the Internet all use fiber optic systems for communication.This paper proposes a new structure for the filtering effect of ring resonator and Mach-Zehnder interferometer.In this paper,firstly,based on the single-loop coupled straight waveguide,the transmission matrix is used to calculate the light transmission coefficient,and the physical meaning of the transmission coefficient is analyzed by the method of series expansion,and the line type of the transmission image is obtained by the simulation software to verify the original analyze the results.Secondly,the optical transmission path of the addition and subtraction filter is split and converted into a transmission image that is easy to observe and understand.The twoport output formula is given,and the influence of different parameters on the spectral shape of the two output ports of the addition and subtraction filter is analyzed by simulation software.The reason for the appearance of the output spectral line pattern is explained.The influence of attenuation factor and the transmission coefficient of the coupler on the output spectral line is analyzed.Connect the coupler to form the corresponding structure to conduct experiments to verify the results of the analysis.Finally,it explores the output spectrum types of the two paths of light coupled with different phases,and divides them into four major types of combination types.The structure of the designed multi-channel filter is introduced,the calculation process of the output spectral lines of each port is given,and the multi-channel output result is obtained by the simulation software.By adjusting the phase difference,coupling coefficient and attenuation coefficient to control the channel switch,adjust the bandwidth and extinction ratio.By changing only the parameters of one of the couplers,the spectrum line originally acting as a 50% splitter is converted into a dual-channel filter.Experiments are used to verify the practical application of the structure.
