With the rapid development of the Internet,users,enterprises,operators and governments have higher and higher requirements for the network.This includes both high requirements for service quality and high requirements for network security.A large number of measurement organizations have carried out large-scale measurement of the Internet,and have obtained a large number of measurement data,which can reflect the Internet topology,connectivity characteristics,infrastructure operation status,etc.Researchers provide a lot of help for network construction and network security by mining and analyzing these measurement data.At the same time,many researchers use these data to conduct research on Internet protocols and routes,in order to obtain the path between any two terminals in the network for the purpose of improving the service quality.Firstly,we build the IP-level topologies for all continents with the help of the IP geolocation technology by collecting open measurement data.Through the analysis of topology structure,the development of Internet in all continents is obtained.Through the analysis of the connectivity situation,we have obtained the traffic transit countries that play an important role in all continents.These conclusions can be used to guide the construction of the Internet,and it is conducive to countries to master the key countries of their traffic channels,and thus contribute to ensuring their own network security.Secondly,we proposed a new AS path inference method which is called Prob Infer to infer AS-level path between any two terminals in the Internet with the help of routing strategy and AS relationship.The new method comes from the perspective of multiple graphs and used a probability based classification model.We demonstrated that Prob Infer performs better than the state-of-the-art AS-level path inference methods.Finally,based on the methods of topology analysis and path inference,we designed and implemented an Internet topology analysis and path inference system.Through the system,the Internet topology can be analyzed in real time and the AS path between any two terminals can be inferred.The results are presented by visualization technology.
