The information revolution has brought about a revolutionary transformation of the way of information production and dissemination,promoted the media integration and development,and made mainstream public opinion bigger and stronger,which has become an urgent issue facing the industry and the academic circles.Since 2018,the construction of county-level media centers has gradually spread throughout the country,and in June 2019,the construction of media centers in 100 counties(cities and districts)in Jiangxi Province has achieved full coverage.The practice of the past two years shows that the development of the county-level media center has made remarkable achievements,but it still faces a lot of confusion,a prominent performance is the understanding and grasp of the key links.There are also studies showing that the key links in the construction of county-level media centers are mainly reflected in organizational structure,content production,media platform,talent pool,marketing profitability,technology and other aspects,but there is still a lack of field observation-based empirical research.This study focuses on the key link of the construction of the county-level media center in F county,G city and J district of Jiangxi Province,the author enters the three county-level media center as an intern to conduct participatory observation and field research,and conducts in-depth interviews with the relevant leaders and grass-roots media practitioners,and explores the similarities and differences between the organizational structure,media platform,content production and talent team of the three county-level media centers,and explores the effectiveness of the construction of the media center at the county level in Jiangxi Province.The study found that the three county-level media centers have different understandings of key links and obvious construction results,but there are also some common problems: such as strict barriers to institutional mechanisms for organization,false media platforms,high degree of content homogenization,lack of stability in the talent pool.In view of these common problems,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: straightening out the management mode,breaking the barriers of institutional mechanism,taking into account the construction of new platforms while doing the main platform,making news production rooted in soil,activating content productivity,strengthening the allocation of human resources,and attracting talents to stay and cultivate talents.
