Research On The Construction And Development Of Characteristic Databases Of Provincial Public Libraries In My Country

The characteristic database of public libraries is an important part of my country's public cultural service system.Public libraries attach importance to the development,construction and service utilization of characteristic databases to form a local characteristic information resource system.The construction of characteristic databases is conducive to establishing the public library brand,improving the social status and competitiveness of public libraries,promoting the inheritance of local characteristic traditional culture,and promoting local social and economic development.This article takes 32 provincial public libraries in my country as the survey object,through a combination of literature and network research,comprehensively investigates the construction and development of the characteristic database of the provincial public library,and summarizes the achievements of the characteristic database construction of the provincial public library.Achievements and development characteristics,analyze the problems existing in the construction and service of the provincial public library's characteristic database,and put forward suggestions for the sustainable development and utilization of the provincial public library's characteristic database.
