The rapid development of information and communication technology has created a variety of communication visibility environments.Many-to-many communication visibility environments such as QQ groups and We Chat groups,have widely penetrated into study,work and life.These environments have become important online academic communication environments,not only providing new contexts but also bringing new problems for academic knowledge behavior such as academic knowledge seeking and academic knowledge contributing.This thesis takes the many-to-many communication visibility environment as the research context,takes social network ties and social cognition as the theoretical basis,which provides a new context and perspective for the study of transactive memory systems and academic knowledge behavior,having theoretical and practical implications.This thesis firstly analyzes the research background and implications,and reviews research status of domestic and foreign literature in terms of instant messaging and many-to-many communication visibility environment,transactive memory systems,knowledge behavior and so on.Then,this thesis elaborates related theories of communication visibility,social network ties,social cognition and so on,providing theoretical support for this research.On this basis,the second-order model of transactive memory systems is developed,and the research model and hypotheses are developed.Then,the scale is developed and the data are collected.In the data analysis,the measurement model is firstly tested,and the results show that in the context of many-to-many communication visibility,the second-order construct of transactive memory systems is valid,which is more reflected by the two dimensions of coordination and credibility.Both instrumental ties and emotional ties have positive effects on transactive memory systems,with the latter one having a larger effect.For academic knowledge seeking,observing the behavior of others has the greatest effect.For academic knowledge contributing,transactive memory systems have the greatest effect.Meanwhile,transactive memory systems play mediating roles between instrumental ties and academic knowledge seeking,between instrumental ties and academic knowledge contributing,between emotional ties and academic knowledge seeking,and between emotional ties and academic knowledge contributing.Furthermore,the mean differences of constructs such as instrumental ties,emotional ties,academic knowledge seeking,academic knowledge contributing,transactive memory systems,observing the behavior of others and self-efficacy in knowledge exchange are compared and analyzed based on individual characteristics of users.
