The TV series "the untamed',adapted from Chinese online-fiction modaozushi(????),was launched in China in the summer of 2019.The trend has swept Weibo and iQiyi platforms in china,discussions remained high in social media.At the same time,overseas Youtube channel serialized the series with a two-week delay compared with mainland China,and then it officially landed on the Netflix platform in October.During this period,the fandom continued to grow in Thailand,South Korea,Japan and other countries.The unimaginable enthusiasm of overseas fans showed the possibility of Chinese cultural products going out.This study believes that in order to communicate content to other countries,a detailed understanding of overseas audiences should be made.Fandom is the power of entertainment industry,which also reflects contemporary popular culture under the context of globalization.Reaching fans means understanding their culture and community.In view of the good overseas development of "the untamed" and the characteristics of digital fandom,this research conduct a multi-method exploration on twitter fandom under the background of transmedia and trans-nation Experience.Fans gather on social media and form groups.The text of social media then works as presentations of fans' daily life and maintaining the community.Therefore,this paper uses empirical research method based on computational tools to analyze fandom text and social network.This paper focuses on four aspects of texts:hashtags,sentiment tendency,word frequency and text category.It turns out that fandom has a standardized text production model and has developed rules that adapt to the Twitter information collection and distribution model.The use of hashtags reveals the fans' communication intentions,and act as a function to expand the number of views,categorize and store huge texts,and form a searchable information thread.The sentiment tendency of the fan text shows that fans seek strong mixed emotional experience driven by Need for Affect(NA).Also it shows naive dialectics in Chinese culture which combines a belief in contradiction,unexpected change and collectivism.The categories of fandom text have similar conclusions to previous studies,such as fan comments,fan art,or community building texts.But what is different with previous studies is the way digital fandom integration of daily life presentation.Texts from some fans show that entertainment consumption and text production are becoming more and more indistinguishable from daily life,the boundary between fictitious world immersion and daily life becomes blurred.Fans record all the experience engagement and emotions on social media.Group "archives" and collective memories have been formed.In addition,the public opinion atmosphere of social media is conducive to the fermentation of "issue".The negotiation of internal contradictions and conflict is to eliminate preconception and accept differences,but sometimes fan also take negative action such as being an anti-fans.Social networks are the external "skeleton" of texts.Transnational fandoms network covers multiple levels of communities,which are mixed with trans-media fans and non-trans-media fans who only consume a kind of media such as tv or fiction.In this small scale social network,there are different players such as translators,creators,influencer from various countries.The overall social network presents an umbrella-like open structure.The untamed or modaozushi fandom has an intersection with other fandom such as BTS fandom or japanese manga fandom.Members in this community share similar cultural tastes and identities between individuals.Especially,Asian pop culture,gay or queer content and visual elements are the most significant tastes.Members are familiar with and make good use of inter-cultural symbols.In addition,the creators and translators in the group have undoubtedly become the most important influencer and leader.They coordinate the cultural and geographical distance,and lead the text production.In the end,texts on social is the presentation of era collective memory and digital archives for those who share and create in order to stay emotional and reconstruct boys love in their own will.
