Display is an important way of information dissemination.3D display technology has drawn extensive attention of scholars at home and abroad,which can provide three-dimensional information of the natural world to the audience.In recent years,the three-dimensional display technology has been developed rapidly.Autostereoscopic display technology includes parallax 3D display and light field display.Parallax 3D display system is the most widely used 3D display system because of its simple structure and low price.The quality of the parallax 3D display system is determined by the correctness and accuracy of viewpoint arrangement.There are some factors such as the fabrication error of the system,the change of viewing distance and so on,which lead to the confusion of viewpoint arrangement.These issues lead to the decrease of display quality.In this thesis,the method of view arrangement optimization in the autostereoscopic three-dimensional display system is investigated and developed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The optimal adjustment of viewpoint arrangement through calibration of local fabrication error.In the autostereoscopic three-dimensional display,the fabrication error of optical will lead to the confusion of viewpoint arrangement and the degradation of display quality.Here,a region segmentation method is proposed to optimize the local deformation of optical structure.This method improves the degradation of the display quality which caused by the deformation of optical structure.(2)An variable optimal viewing distance autostereoscopic three-dimensional display system is realized.The display quality is vulnerable to the viewer's position change.In order to solve the problem of display quality degradation,the eye tracking device is used to track the position of observer.The viewpoint arrangement is adjusted according to the position of human eyes.In this way,the viewing freedom is improved.
