TV presenters have been around for dozens of years since their birth.During this period, the presenters have continuously changed with the advancement of media.Relying on technological innovation,TV programs range from recording and broadcasting to limited live broadcasting to today's uninterrupted live broadcasting. The improvement of communication efficiency has made the host get more attention, and the emergence of various new media means, originally After leaving the stage and the program, the host "hidden" in life lost the interval, and his professional role began to continue to extend.A lot of attention will of course bring a favorable impact on the spread of the program, but the negative impact has never been absent. In recent years, the academic community and the industry have begun to analyze and study the presenters from various angles.I want to have a deeper understanding of this career with multiple roles, especially in the current era of media fusion, where technology, ideas, and information continue to interact.Under the complex influence brought by the host, how should the host manage his own behavior to leave an ideal impression on the audience, complete the construction of his public image and professional image, and use this as a basis to better complete the communication task and fulfill the communication responsibility It is still an urgent problem to be solved. This research draws on Goffman's "self-presentation" and "simulated drama theory" and other related research, combined with the characteristics of TV presenters, and takes the classic self-presentation research in academia as a starting point. On the basis of carding and case interviews,I tried to explore how the TV presenters self-presented in a specific situation, and further analyzed the motivations affecting self-presentation,hoping to propose a positive strategy for the host to present themselves.
