The cloud manufacturing service platform(CMSP)realizes the in-depth visibility and convenient availability of idle resources by virtualizing,servicing and uniformly optimizing management and operation of idle distributed resources.The traditional pricing methods of resource providers cannot be directly applied to resource pricing in cloud platforms due to the characteristics of the cloud platform transaction mode.Choosing a pricing strategy suitable for cloud platforms is a huge challenge for resource providers.However,few literatures have conducted in-depth research on resource pricing strategies in cloud platforms.In this context,this article starts with the resource scarcity and studies the optimal pricing strategy on cloud platforms from the perspective of resource providers.Firstly,this paper summarizes the four characteristics of cloud platform resource pricing by comparing the cloud manufacturing transaction mode with the traditional transaction mode,namely,no negotiation,one-time quotation within a specified time,fierce competition,and dependence on cloud platform rules and information.By comparing the resource pricing on cloud platforms with the product auction process,it is also found that the bidding process of the cloud platform resource provider conforms to the characteristics of static game with incomplete information,and there are multiple providers winning the bid.Based on this,the static Bayesian model is selected as the basic model.Secondly,the static Bayesian model is improved based on resource scarcity,the valuation distribution function and multi-winner bids.Considering the guiding significance of cloud platform information to resource supplier's pricing,this paper proposes the resource scarcity to reflect the relationship between resource prices and supply and demand status,and defines the intermediary variable premium factor to incorporate resource scarcity information into the pricing model;this paper discusses the evaluation distribution function to better describe the characteristics of competitors,and considers the situation of multi-winner bids to match the cloud platform transaction features better.Finally,this paper uses the Nash equilibrium to solve the model,and finds that the final price decision of the resource supplier depends on cost-based resource valuation value,the estimation of competitor valuation distribution parameters,the estimation of available demand quantity and platform resource scarcity index.Furthermore,this paper uses MATLAB to carry out parameter sensitivity analysis and model comparative analysis to verify the validity of the model,and puts forward a guiding strategy for resource supplier pricing.
