The vivid and interesting pictures in picture books and the simple and clear words are not only conducive to promoting the improvement of children's reading ability and Chinese literacy,but also play a unique role in the development of children's imagination and creativity.As a result,picture books have gradually entered the classrooms of many urban primary schools as a new educational resource.Because the picture books in mainland area development relatively late,in the city primary school lower grade is still in the popularization stage,teachers and parents seldom contact before painting or never contact picture books,the understanding of this understanding is not enough,plus this number is great,the quality is uneven,not only failed to give full play to the advantages of picture books to read,even can lead to students dislike reading picture books,picture books has failed to give full play to the positive role.It has become an important research topic in the field of education to understand the current situation of reading picture books in urban primary schools for lower grades and give appropriate guidance.This research by using literature method,interview method,observation method and the methods of questionnaire investigation,the paper A primary school lower grade picture books reading present situation investigation,discovered in the elementary school lower grade picture books to read,poor students there exists A shallow reading interest,reading habits,reading to reap little problems,parents painted picture books attaches great importance to the deficiencies,such problems as the choosing inappropriate,teacher painted picture books reading teaching enthusiasm is not high,the problem such as the existence erroneous zone in reading teaching.The causes of these problems are closely related to parents,teachers and schools.In order to give full play to the advantages of picture books,guide the junior students actively for picture books to read,to cultivate good habits of reading picture books,complete transition from kindergarten to primary school Chinese class,cannot leave the parents,teachers and students work together: parents should take an active part in parent-child reading,inspire children picture books reading interest;Teachers should set up the teaching concept of picture books and provide students with reading guidance of picture books.Schools should strengthen the construction of teachers,and attach importance to creating an environment for reading picture books.Only in this way,it is possible to play the due value of picture books in primary school students' reading.
