At present,universities are still in the exploration stage in the construction of green low-carbon campus.This study takes the assessment of carbon footprint as the entry point,takes the students of three undergraduate universities in Qinghai Province as the research object,takes the ecological balance theory as the theoretical basis,uses questionnaire survey method and interview method as the research method,calculates the carbon footprint of students' campus behaviour in three undergraduate universities in Qinghai Province,understands the current situation of universities in the construction of low-carbon campus The study found that the carbon footprints of students' behaviour in three undergraduate universities in Qinghai Province were calculated.The study found that the carbon footprint of students' campus behaviour in the three universities in Qinghai Province was 1958.51 kg,16238.77 kg,5659.84 kg and481.57 kg respectively,with a total carbon footprint of 24338.69 kg,of which the carbon footprint of food was the largest,followed by housing.The following conclusions were also drawn: students neglect carbon emissions in their daily behaviour,low-carbon campus behaviour is narrow or missing,lack of initiative and internal drive,some students lack awareness and theoretical grasp of low-carbon living,strong willingness to live a low-carbon life but low participation,the system related to low-carbon campus construction is missing and the implementation environment has certain limitations,the implementation of the university system still needs to be improved,the university has not yet developed a comprehensive low-carbon education The lack of low-carbon awareness and low-carbon behaviour,the disconnect between low-carbon awareness and low-carbon behaviour and daily life,the lack of a green and low-carbon awareness management concept,the relatively sloppy management style and the outdated logistics facilities,which increase the pressure of carbon emissions.In response to the above findings,the government should coordinate from a macro perspective and build a "government-led and university-led" model.From the perspective of universities,it is proposed to establish and improve the system of low-carbon campus construction in universities,enhance the execution of the system and ensure that the system is put into practice,develop special low-carbon education courses to enrich the form of low-carbon education,create a platform for students to practise low-carbon behaviour and encourage low-carbon daily life,establish the management concept of people-oriented and green development,change the traditional management mode from rough and loose to fine,and schools should take action to support and manage the system.Support and management constraints,as well as accelerating the transformation and upgrading of logistics equipment to achieve the widespread use of energy-saving equipment on campus.From the perspective of students,students should take the initiative to take responsibility for practising low-carbon campus behaviours,take the initiative to pay attention to school-related activities and raise their own awareness,etc.
