Under the background of the construction of traditional Chinese culture,the proposal of rural revitalization strategy,the reform and development of rural education and the promotion of the strategy of school characteristics,the cultivation of local characteristics of rural schools is of great practical significance.Guided by Tao Xingzhi's theory of life education,Liang Shuming's theory of rural construction,Gardner's theory of multi-intelligence and the management theory of Sun Tzu's Military Law,combined with the local practice and advanced educational concepts of the school,the implementation of local education with the help of local resources can effectively cultivate local characteristics.In order to explore in depth how township middle schools in the new era can cultivate local characteristics,this study first starts with the concept definition and makes a clear definition of local,local resources,local characteristics and local education.Secondly,combined with the excellent school characteristics at home and abroad to develop educational ideas and reform practice to improve their theoretical literacy.Thirdly,on this basis,select the case school in the process of cultivating local characteristics to carry out research for the research object,combined with field observation,interviews and other ways to analyze the current situation of the cultivation of local characteristics of the school.First of all,to clarify the basic information,realistic basis,cultivate local characteristics path,cultivation results,cultivate characteristics and other issues,and carried out a summary of experience,and again for the school's local characteristics cultivation problems put forward improvement measures,and on this basis further reflection formed new strategies of local cultivation characteristics.The main problems of local characteristic cultivation of the case school are: the development content of local resources is single,the development capacity needs to be improved,lack of scientific planning and positioning,lack of effective policy support and guidance,the characteristics of local labor education are not obvious,and the local practice education is not prominent.The corresponding strategies for improvement are: expanding the knowledge of local resources,improving the ability of local education,formulating scientific planning and positioning of local characteristics cultivation,taking practical and beneficial measures,paying attention to labor education and social practice,and highlighting the characteristics of local labor.Under the guidance of the experience of local characteristics cultivation of case schools,a new cultivation strategy is formed: Localization of rural school construction,lifelike of rural education content,individualization of rural student development,characteristic of rural campus culture.
