Purpose:This study analyzed the level of disease uncertainty and its correlation with the quality of life of patients with stroke.Material and method:In this study, convenience sampling was used to select 250 stroke patients who were treated in the neurology department of 5 tertiary hospitals in Liaoning Province from January 2019 to December 2020.The general information survey of stroke patients was used to investigate the demographic and clinical data of stroke patients;the Chinese version of the Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale for Adults(MUIS-A)was used to investigate the level of disease uncertainty in stroke patients;Use Stroke Scale-Quality of Life(SS-QOL)to investigate the quality of life of stroke patients.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0.The composition ratio, mean and standard deviation were used to describe the demographic and clinical characteristics, disease uncertainty and quality of life of stroke patients.Independent sample t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used to compare different demographics.Use multiple linear regression to analyze the influencing factors of disease uncertainty and quality of life in stroke patients, and use Pearson correlation analysis to explore the disease uncertainty and quality of life in stroke patients The correlation between.Results:1.The scores of uncertainty, complexity and total score of disease uncertainty in patients with stroke were(41.5±7.6),(28.3±5.4)and(69.8±6.6)respectively,indicating that the disease uncertainty of patients with stroke was at a moderate level.Age,educational level, monthly income of the family and number of complications were the independent influencing factors of disease uncertainty of patients with stroke(P<0.05).2.The score of quality of life for energy, family roles,language,activity,emotion,personality,self-care ability, social role, thinking, upper limb function,eyesight,job/work and total score of quality of life in patients with stroke were(8.8 ±2.4),(6.1±2.0),(13.1 ± 3.2),(16.6 ±3.0),(12.2±2.8),(7.9±2.4),(11.8±3.3),(13.6±3.8),(7.8±2.6),(12.2±2.8),(8.8±3.3),(6.5± 2.6),(125.4 ±13.6)respectively.Age,educational level, monthly income of the family and number of complications were the independent influencing factors of quality of life of patients with stroke(P < 0.05).3.The energy, family role,activity,mood,personality,self-care ability, social role,thinking,work/labor and total score of quality of life were negative correlation with uncertainty(P<0.05).The energy, family role,mood,personality,self-care ability, social role, thinking, upper limb function,job/ labor and total score of quality of life score were negative correlation with complexity(P<0.05).In addition to the vision and language, all dimensions of quality of life in patients with stroke were negative correlated with the total score of disease uncertainty(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The disease uncertainty of patients with stroke was at a moderate level, the quality of life need improved.2.Age,educational level, monthly income of the family and number of complications were the independent influencing factors of disease uncertainty of patients with stroke.3.Age,marital status, monthly income of the family and number of complications were the independent influencing factors of quality of life of patients with stroke.4.There was a negative correlation between quality of life and disease uncertainty in patients with stroke.
