Antisocial personality disorder(APD)is a pattern of behavior that ignores and infringes on the rights of others. It is characterized by high crime rate, high aggression and easy to merge with other mental disorders, which can cause great harm to social economy and public security.Previous studies have shown that the onset of APD is affected by multiple factors, such as gene, environmental factors and individual cognition.Childhood emotional abuse experience is one of the direct factors that affect the development of antisocial personality traits, and childhood emotional abuse experience can indirectly lead to APD by influencing individual hostility attribution bias.In this study, male inmates in a prison in Tianjin were selected as the subjects.Childhood emotional abuse experience was used as the antecedent variable, hostility attribution bias as the mediator variable, and education level as the moderator variable to explore the impact of childhood emotional abuse experience on APD and its mechanism. The results show that:(1)There was a significant positive correlation between childhood emotional abuse and antisocial personality disorder;(2)The hostility attribution bias is significantly positively correlated with the tendency of antisocial personality disorder;(3)The hostile attribution bias plays a partially mediating role in the influence of childhood emotional abuse on the tendency of antisocial personality disorder;(4)The level of education has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between childhood emotional abuse and hostile attribution bias.Specifically, compared with a higher level of education, when the level of education is lower, the childhood emotional abuse experience of violent offenders can positively predict hostile attribution bias;(5)There is a moderated mediation model among childhood emotional abuse experience, hostile attribution bias, education level, and antisocial personality disorder tendency.Specifically, when the individual’s level of education is lower, the childhood emotional abuse experience will affect the individual’s hostile attribution bias, thereby affecting the formation of antisocial personality disorder. |
