Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Simple Obesity With Spleen-deficiency Dampness-resistance Syndrome By Raising Yang, Nourishing Qi, Dehumidifying And Catgut Embedding

Objective: Observe the clinical effect of Shengyang Yiqi Chushi catgut-embedding therapy in the treatment of simple obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness resistance type,and compare it with routine thread embedding therapy,in order to seek a better treatment scheme for simple obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness stagnation type.Methods: 60 cases of simple obesity patients with spleen deficiency and dampness stagnation type were selected and divided into two groups by random digital table method:the treatment group and the control group,30 cases each.The treatment group treated with Shengyang Yiqi Chushi catgut-embedding therapy,while the control group threaded with routine embedding therapy.The frequency of treatment is Once every 2 weeks,4times a course of treatment.The curative effect indexes were recorded before every treatment and 2 weeks after the fourth treatment,and statistical analysis was conducted finally.Results:In the course of treatment,the treatment group and the control group both had 1 case of shedding,and finally completed 58 effective cases,29 cases in the treatment group,and 29 cases in the control group.(1)In the overall clinical efficacy evaluation,the markedly effective rate of the treatment group was 58.6%,and the total effective rate was79.3%.The markedly effective rate of the control group was 44.8%,and the total effective rate was 82.8%.There was no significant difference in the overall clinical efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)After treatment,the weight of the two groups decreased compared with that before(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in weight loss between the two groups(P>0.05).(3)After treatment,the body mass index(BMI)of the two groups were significantly lower than that before(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(4)After treatment,the percentage of fat(F%)in the two groups was significantly lower than that before(P<0.01),and the effect of the treatment group in reducing the percentage of fat(F%)was more significant(P<0.05).(5)After treatment,the "three line circumference" of the face in the treatment group was decreased compared with that before(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the control group before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion: Shengyang Yiqi Chushi catgut-embedding therapy and routine thread embedding therapy are both effective in treating simple obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness stagnation type.In improving body weight and body mass index(BMI),the two groups had similar curative effect,but in reducing percentage of fat(F%),Shengyang Yiqi Chushi catgut-embedding therapy was better than routine thread embedding therapy.In terms of improving facial obesity,Shengyang Yiqi Chushi catgut-embedding therapy had certain curative effect.
