A Summary Of The Experience Of Famous Traditional Chinese Medicine Fan Facai In The Treatment Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Objective:To analyze and summarize the rules of Chinese medicine prescriptions and medication used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)by Fan Facai.a famous TCM doctor in Jiangmen,and to better transmit his academic thoughts on the treatment of COPD and guide clinical.Methods:Outpatient cases who met the study criteria during 2019-2020 were collected and screened,and the medical records and clinical prescriptions were screened and entered into the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support Platform(V2.5)" software.The entered data were analyzed through functions of data frequency statistics,drug association rule analysis,and cluster analysis of the software.Meanwhile,the medication experience and clinical prescription rules for the treatment of COPD by Fan-Facai were summarized in combination with learning and on site teaching.Results:The basic data showed that the majority of patients with COPD were middle-aged and elderly male.A total of 476 prescriptions were collected involving a total of 199 herbs.The majority of drug classifications were phlegm-removing,anti-tussive and expectorant drugs together with tonifying drugs.There were 52 kinds of high-frequency drugs(frequency≥ 30 times),with a frequency of 4485 times,accounted 80.24%of the total frequency.Drug used with high-frequency were Pinellia ternata,Poria cocos,almonds and pericarpium citri reticulatae,etc..The descending order of the frequency in prescription medication:four properties:warm medicine(2750 times),cold medicine(1304 times),flat medicine(876 times),cold medicine(128 times),and hot medicine(80 times);five tastes:acrid medicine(2418 times),bitter medicine(2372times),sweet medicine(2351times),sour medicine(328times),astringent medicine(126 times),and salty medicine(77times);meridian tropism:lung meridian(3455 times),spleen meridian(2830 times),stomach meridian(1690 times),kidney meridian(1188 times),heart meridian(1140 times),liver meridian(864times),large intestine meridian(717 times),gall bladder meridian(241 times),bladder meridian(239 times),small intestine meridian(129 times),tri-jiao meridian(16 times),and pericardium meridian(10 times).The statistical results,compatibility of 17 pairs of commonly used drugs,2 pair of core drug combination and 4 new prescription combinations were obtained.And the frequency of common high frequency drugs,four properties and five flavors and meridian tropism of each syndrome type have been counted.Conclusion:Middle-aged and elderly male are at high risk of COPD.Most mild chronic obstructive pulmonary diseaseof the drugs used in the treatment of COPD by renowned TCM doctor Fan Facai are warm,acrid,sweet and bitter in nature.The drugs mainly belong in the lung,spleen,stomach and kidney meridian.The high-frequency drugs are anti-tussive,expectorant and tonifying drugs.Experience of Master Fan in the treatment of stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or mild chronic obstructive pulmonary disease based on the principle of "replenishing deficiency and reducing excess",emphasizing "adjusting measures to local conditions",and combining the physical characteristics of patients with weak spleen and stomach with phlegm-dampness or phlegm-heat in Lingnan area to cultivate Mainly invigorate the lungs,spleen and kidneys,pay attention to the spleen and soil in the middle burnt,resolve phlegm and drink throughout the course,and the drug properties should be gentle,knowing what to do,and treating it according to the symptoms.In clinical practice,Teacher Fan usually chooses to use the combination of the corresponding diseases and pathogenesis of the 4 new prescriptions based on the differentiation of symptoms and signs.
