Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome) By Oral Administration Of Zixi Tongmai Decoction Combined With Xishen Tongluo Liquid For Foot Bathing

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Zicuitongmai Decoction combined with foot bathing with Xixiantongluo Liquid in treating patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis type diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods: The 60 DPN patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group(30 cases)and a treatment group(30 cases).The two groups of patients were given basic treatment to control blood sugar,while the control group was treated with lipoic acid injection intravenously,and the treatment group was given oral administration of Zicuitongmai Decoction on the basis of the control group combined with the foot bath therapy of Xixiantongluo Liquid.The course of treatment was 30 days.Observe the TCM syndrome scores,toronto clinical scoring system(TCSS),motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)and sensory nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)of the common peroneal nerve before and after treatment in the two groups of patients.SNCV)changes.Results:1.Curative effect: The total effective rate of the treatment group is better than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.TCM syndrome score: After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the decrease in the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.TCSS score: After treatment,the TCSS scores of the two groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the decline in the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.Nerve conduction velocity: after treatment,the common peroneal nerve MNCV and sural nerve SNCV were significantly increased in the two groups(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the nerve conduction velocity in the treatment group increased significantly,and the SNCV of the sural nerve was significantly different from the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Oral administration of Zicuitongmai Decoction combined with foot bathing with Xixiantongluo Liquid is effective in treating qi deficiency and blood stasis type diabetic peripheral neuropathy.It can not only significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients,but also reduce TCSS and increase nerve conduction velocity.The effect is better than conventional Western medicine treatment has no obvious adverse reactions and toxic side effects,is safe and effective,and is worthy of further clinical promotion.
