Effect Of Self-made Kushen Decoction Sitz Bath On Wound Healing After Low Simple Anal Fistula

Objective:By observing the effects of sitz bath with self-made Kushen Decoction on patients after the operation of low simple anal fistula,We provide clinical reference for the application of Chinese medicine for external using after the operation of anal fistula.Methods:During the period from May 2020 to December 2020,64 patients with low simple anal fistula and dampness-heat diffusing downward were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group in the Anorectal Inpatient Department of Chongqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and there were 32 cases in each group.The patients were given sitz bath with self-made Kushen Decoction in the observation group after the operation,while the patients in the control group were given sitz bath with potassium permanganate solution after the operation.By observing the indicators of the two groups on the 3rd,the 7th and the 1 4th days after the operation(including the wound healing rate,the exudation score,the granulation tissue morphology score,the edema score,the wound pain),the healing time,the improvement of the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes,the overall effective and adverse reactions.we recorded and analyzed those data objectively.Results:1.Here was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group in terms of age,gender,duration of disease,initial wound area after surgery,and TCM syndrome score before treatment(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.On the 14th day after operation,the effective rate of the observation group was 98%,the control group was 80.85%,and the effective rate of both groups was 100%,and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).3.Comparing the wound area healing rate between the two groups of patients、the difference was statistically significant on the 7th and 14th day after operation(P<0.05),while the difference on the third day was not statistically significant(P>0.05).On the 3rd,7th,and 14th day after operation,there was no statistically significant difference in wound secretion scores between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Comparison of wound granulation morphology scores between the two groups of patients on the 3rd and 7th day after operation,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),while the difference on the 14th day was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Comparison of the wound tissue edema scores of patients,the difference was statistically significant on the 3rd and 7th day after operation(P<0.05).and the difference on the 1 4th day was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Comparing the wound pain scores between the two groups,the difference was statistically significant on the 3rd and 7th day after operation(P<0.05).and the difference on the 14th day was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The average healing time of the observation group was(19.04±3.39)days and that of the control group was(22.52±3.78)days.There was a statistically significant difference in the average healing time between the two groups(P<0.05).4.There were no adverse reactions in the two groups of patients during the treatment.Conclusion:Self-made Kushen Decoction Sit Bath is of benefit to wound healing after low-position simple anal fistula,which can speed up the growth of granulation morphology,improve granulation morphology,reduce tissue edema,relieve local wound pain,shorten healing time,and have no obvious toxic and side effects.It is worthy of clinical promotion application.
