Clinical Study On Fuzheng Xiaoji Fang In The Treatment Of Tumor Cachexia

Objective:To preliminarily evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Fuzheng Xiaoji Decoction in the treatment of patients with tumor cachexia,and provide a scientific basis for further clinical application.Methods:A total of 72 patients were enrolled in this study,9 cases were dropped,63 cases were actually enrolled,32 cases were in the traditional Chinese medicine group,and 31 cases were in the control group.The experimental group took Fuzheng Xiaoji Decoction as the main prescription,adding or subtracting according to the syndrome,twice a day,morning and evening;the control group was given megestrol acetate dispersible tablets 160mg/time,once a day,orally.Both groups received general symptomatic treatment and nutritional support for 4 weeks of continuous treatment.Observe the changes in body weight,KPS score,peripheral blood IL-6,CRP,hemoglobin,albumin,TCM symptom scores and adverse reactions before treatment,1 day after treatment and 28 days after treatment.Results:1)Baseline comparison:There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients in gender,age,cancer type,cancer stage,body mass index(BMI),weight loss within 6 months,KPS score,TCM symptom score,and serological indicators.(P>0.05),it is comparable.2)Efficacy evaluation:In terms of body weight,1 day after the end of the treatment,28 days after the end of the treatment,and before the treatment,there was no significant difference in the effect of the body weight between the two groups(P>0.05);on the KPS score,1 day after the end of the treatment was compared with that before the treatment.There was no significant difference in curative effect between the two groups(P>0.05).28 days after the treatment,the experimental group had better curative effects than the control group(P<0.05).In terms of TCM symptom scores,after the treatment,the two groups were appetite,poor food Body weight loss was improved(P<0.05).The experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05)in improving appetite,lack of food,abdominal distension,and fatigue symptoms,and the effect was longer.In terms of serological indicators,the experimental group can significantly reduce the concentration of CRP and IL-6,and increase the levels of albumin(P<0.05),and the efficacy and durability are better than those of the control group.3)Adverse reactions:The experimental group did not have obvious blood routine,biochemical,electrocardiogram abnormalities,edema,gastrointestinal reactions and other adverse reactions.In the control group,there were 2 cases of mildly elevated serum transaminase and 1 case of unilateral lower extremity edema.Conclusion:Fuzheng Xiaoji Prescription can increase the weight of patients with tumor cachexia,improve their quality of life,relieve clinical symptoms,reduce systemic inflammation and improve nutritional status,and has a longer-lasting effect and good safety.
