Clinical Study On The Curative Effect Of Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction On Preoperative Swelling And Pain Of Pilon Fracture (Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type)

Purpose:To study the clinical efficacy of Tao-Hong-Si-Wu Decoction in reducing preoperative swelling of Pilon fracture of the ankle joint,and to clarify the perioperative effect of Tao-Hong-Si-Wu Decoction in adjuvant treatment of ankle joint Pilon fractures,and provide a basis for clinical research and development.Method:109 patients who came to our hospital for treatment and were prepared for surgical treatment were selected.These patients were clinically diagnosed with Pilon fracture of the ankle joint with preoperative swelling of the ankle joint.The patients were divided into the control group and the observation group by using the randomized control table method.The control group was treated with conventional mannitol for ankle swelling,and the observation group was given Tao-Hong-Si-Wu Decoction as an adjuvant treatment on top of the control group.The patients in both groups were monitored before treatment,1 day after treatment,3 days after treatment,5 days after treatment,and 7 days after treatment.The detection indicators include ankle joint swelling,pain score,plasma C-reactive protein,plasma D-dimer,clinical efficacy,and postoperative complications.The experimental data were recorded,and the study data of the two groups of patients were compared between and within groups to clarify whether there were statistical differences.Result:After the inclusion,exclusion,shedding,and termination criteria,68 patients were selected as study subjects,with 34 patients in each group.In the observation group and the control group,there were no statistically significant comparison between the patients’ gender,age,BMI,right and left ankle Pilon fracture,and Pilon fracture type(P>0.05).The swelling and pain of the ankle joints of the two groups of patients were relieved 3 days after treatment,and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the two groups of patients,plasma CRP decreased significantly 3 days after treatment,which was statistically significant after comparison(P<0.05).In the two groups of patients,plasma D-dimer decreased significantly 3 days after treatment,which was statistically significant after comparison(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of ankle swelling was 97.06% in the observation group and 85.29% in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the postoperative complications of the observation group and the control group,the observation group had fewer complications after surgery,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Preoperative application of mannitol plus Tao-Hong-Si-Wu Decoction for patients with Pilon fractures of the ankle joint can effectively relieve the pain of the patients,promote the reduction of preoperative ankle swelling,reduce postoperative complications,speed up the recovery of the patient,and reduce the burden on the patient.
