Objective:To observe whether press needle combined with Chaihu Zaoren Anshen Decoction is more effective than press needle or Chaihu Zaoren Anshen Decoction alone in the treatment of insomnia of liver depression and qi stagnation type.Methods:Sixty patients with liver-stagnation and qi stagnation type insomnia who met the inclusion criteria were divided into a combination group,a press needle group,and a traditional Chinese medicine group according to a random number table,with 20 cases in each group.The combination group was treated with press needles combined with Chaihu Zaoren Anshen Decoction.Press needles to take bilateral Ganshu,Danshu,Geshu,Xinshu,Neiguan,Shenmen,Sanyinjiao,and Taichong points.The needles were retained for 2 days each time.Treated 3 times a week;Chaihu Zaoren Anshen Decoction was taken once a day,twice in the morning and evening,6 days a week for a total of 4 weeks of treatment.The press needle group only used press needle treatment,and the operation and course of treatment were the same as the combination group;the Chinese medicine group only took Chaihu Zaoren Anshen Decoction,and the operation and course of treatment were the same as the combination group.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and TCM syndrome scores were used to assess sleep status and TCM syndromes for each patient before and after treatment,and the clinical efficacy of the three groups after treatment was evaluated.Results:1.After treatment,the sleep scores of the three groups were significantly decreased(all P<0.05).Compared with the press needle group and the traditional Chinese medicine group,the sleep score of the combined group decreased more significantly(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the sleep score of the press needle group and the traditional Chinese medicine group(P>0.05).2.After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the three groups were significantly reduced(all P<0.05).Compared with the press needle group and the traditional Chinese medicine group,the TCM syndrome score of the combined group decreased more significantly(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the TCM syndrome score of the press needle group and the traditional Chinese medicine group(P>0.05).3.Clinical efficacy:the combined group has a cure rate of 65%,and the total effective rate is 90%;the press needle group has a cure rate of 35%,and the total effective rate is 75%;the traditional Chinese medicine group has a cure rate of 25%,and the total effective rate is 80%.The cure rate and total effective rate of the combined group were better than those of the press needle group and the Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the press needle group and the Chinese medicine group in the cure rate and total effective rate(P>0.05).Conclusion:Pres sing needle combined with Chaihu Zaoren Anshen Decoction treatment can more effectively improve the sleep and TCM syndromes of patients with insomnia of liver-stagnation and qi stagnation type,and increase the healing rate and effective rate than the single use of press needles and Chaihu Zaoren Anshen Decoction.,Has good clinical application value.
