| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Wuse Peiyuan Guben ointment on protein energy wasting in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods: 1.68 patients who met the inclusion criteria of this study were randomly divided into observation group and control group,34 cases in each group.2.Medication plan: the control group was given conventional therapy. The observation group was treated with conventional therapy and Wuse Peiyuan Guben ointment.3.Course of treatment: 28 days as a course of treatment,a total of two courses.4.Evaluate the albumin, hemogl obin, red blood cell count, hematocrit, total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein, malnutrition inflammation score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups before and after treatment. Results: 1.The total effective rate of observation group was 87.1%,the total effective rate of control group was 75%.2.The comparison between the two groups before and after treatment showed that there was statistical significance(P<0.05).The PEW status of MHD patients in observation group and control group were improved. There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference after treatment(P<0.05).3.The TCM symptom scores of the two groups were compared before and after treatment, and there were statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with the treatment effect of the two groups, the effect of observation group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).4.Laboratory indicators: the Hb and RBC count levels of the two groups were improved before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group in improving the Hb and RBC levels(P<0.05).5.Safety index:there was no significant difference in liver function(ALT,AST)between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion: Wuse Peiyuan Guben ointment can effectively improve the protein energy wasting, hemoglobin and red blood cell count of maintenance hemodialysis patients,it can also improve the TCM clinical symptoms of MHD patients with spleen and kidney qi deficiency. |
