Compilation Of A Scale Of Drug Addiction Motivation Of Compulsory Drug Addicts And Construction Of A Multiple Mediating Model Of Its Influencing Factors

As an important research concept in the field of drug addiction,drug abstaining motivation plays a key role in the production of drug use and the control of relapse behavior.Studies have shown that there is a positive link between family function and drug abstaining motivation.However,this protective effect of family function may also depend on the factors of drug addicts themselves.On the basis of self-determination theory,this study investigated and analyzed the structure of drug abstaining motivation of compulsory drug addicts in China,and explored the mediating role of individual factors in the influence of family on drug addiction motivation.In the first study,a 36-item questionnaire was designed by consulting domestic and foreign literature,individual interview,and expert consultation.A cross-validation method was used to test 800 male drug addicts in a compulsory rehabilitation center in Guangdong province,and 23 items were saved by item analysis and exploratory factor analysis(EFA).In the second study,650 male drug addicts were investigated by self-designed Drug Abstaining Motivation Questionnaire,Family Assessment Device(FAD),General Need Satisfaction Scale(GNSS)and Depression Scale form Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS).Path analysis was used to verify the effect of individual factors on their motivation.Specific findings are as follows:(1)Self-designed Drug Abstaining Motivation Questionnaire was based on likert-5 score.The questionnaire includes 23 items and 4 dimensions,they are:active participation,sense of identity,guilty,external pressure,help-seeking,that explaining 48.65%of the variation.The cronbach?coefficient of each dimension of the questionnaire was between 0.68-0.74,and CFA indicated that the questionnaire had five factors with good fit indices,?~2/df=1.90,p<0.01,CFI=0.89,TLI=0.88,RESEA=0.05,SRMR=0.05,AIC=20339.87,BIC=20620.60;there was a significant correlation between each dimension and the total score of the effective standard Drug Abuse Treatment Motivation Questionnaire between 0.50-0.65.(2)Basic psychological needs and depression significantly chain-mediated the relationship between family function and sense of identity,the path is:family function?basic psychological needs?depression?sense of identity,but this chain-mediated effect is not significant in the model with guilt as the outcome variable;(3)in addition to the above-mentioned chain-mediated model,depression plays a significant independent mediating role in the relationship between family function and sense of identity;(4)Basic psychological needs play an independent mediating role in the relationship between family function and the two internal motivation(sense of identity,guilty).Conclusion:(1)The Drug abstaining Motivation Questionnaire has a reliable and valid instrument,which can be used to measure the level of drug abstaining motivation from drug addicts in Compulsory rehabilitation center.(2)Family function has indirect influence on internal drug abstaining motivation,which plays a different mediating role in different types of internal drug abstaining motivation,among which basic psychological needs and depression.This finding complements the mechanism of the generation of drug abstaining motivation by,and also provides supporting evidence for family treatment intervention of drug addicts.
