| Objective:By studying the current status of nurses ’work-family conflict,emotional intelligence,and psychological capital after second childbirth,the factors that affect nurses’work-family conflict,emotional intelligence,and psychological capital after second childbirth are analyzed.The intermediary effect provides a reference for nursing managers to implement reasonable intervention measures for nurses after childbirth.Methods:The convenience sampling method was used to select nurses who returned to work after delivery of the second child from September 2019 to December 2019 in Binzhou Public Tertiary General Hospital.Survey of Mental Capital Scale.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS22.0 statistical software.Results:1.The nurse’s postpartum work-family conflict score for the second child was(51.83 1 ±4.384)points,the average emotional intelligence score was(4.600± 0.504)points,and the psychological capital score was(4.296±0.637)points,which was a medium level.2.Work→Family conflict score(29.977 ± 6.687),which is higher than Family→Work conflict score(21.854 ± 2.353);In terms of work family conflict,it is stress-based conflict(11.363±3.754,time-based conflict).(10.428 ± 3.216),behavior-based conflicts(8.186 ± 2.423);in terms of family→work conflicts,the behavior conflicts(8.293±2.862),time conflicts(7.177±2.259),and pressure conflicts(6.384± 2.174).Among the four dimensions of emotional intelligence,the scores in the four dimensions from highest to lowest are self-emotion assessment(4.832± 0.244),other people’s emotion assessment(4.722 ± 0.621),emotional use(4.543± 0.096),and emotional control(4.304± 0.375).The scores of psychological capital from low to high were optimistic(4.086±0.848),hope(4.192 ± 0.784),resilience(4.331±0.392),and self-efficacy(4.575±0.326).3.There were significant correlations between work-family conflict,emotional intelligence,and psychological capital in the second child’s postpartum period(P<0.05).The total score of emotional intelligence and each dimension are significantly negatively correlated with the total score of work-family conflict and each dimension.The total score of psychological capital and each dimension are significantly negatively correlated with the total score of work-family conflict and each dimension.4.The mediating effect of psychological capital in work-family conflict and emotional intelligence accounts for 21.682%.Conclusions:1.Nurses’ postpartum work-family conflict,emotional intelligence,and psychological capital are all at a medium level.2.Some demographic characteristics have significant effects on work-family conflict,emotional intelligence,and psychological capital.3.The post-partum work-family conflict of nurses has a significant negative correlation with emotional intelligence and psychological capital,and psychological capital and emotional intelligence have a significant positive correlation.4.Psychological capital plays a mediating role between emotional intelligence and work-family conflict. |
