Development Of Follow-up Checklist For Postoperative Breast Cancer Based On Patient Participation

ObjectiveBased on the participation of patients in formulating a scientific and standardized breast cancer follow-up checklist,it will provide scientific and effective tool support for postoperative breast cancer follow-up.Methods（1）select the breast cancer patients in a third class a hospital in Anhui province from September 2020 to March 2021 to conduct follow-up survey.（2）Through literature research and structured interview,we fully understand the wishes and needs of doctors,nurses and patients for follow-up.Guided by the guide,we will initially construct the first draft and revised draft of breast cancer follow-up checklist.（3）Through two rounds of Delphi experts’ consultation,16 experts from Guangdong,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and other provinces were selected to collect and summarize the experts’ opinions for revision,forming a follow-up checklist of breast cancer after operation.（4）After the initial revision of the follow-up checklist of breast cancer,a preliminary clinical trial was completed,and three questionnaires were filled out by the doctors,nurses and patients.Results（1）Through the demand survey,it is found that the top five items with the highest demand for follow-up:healthy lifestyle,disease prognosis and recurrence,adjuvant treatment and side effects,postoperative symptom inducing factors,treatment measures and follow-up tools.（2）Through literature review and structured interview,a revised version of breast cancer follow-up list,consisting of 3 first level indicators,10 two level indicators and 46 three level indicators,was formed.（3）The enthusiasm of experts in the two rounds of Delphi expert letters was 80.0%and 100%respectively,and the expert authority coefficient was 0.940.The variation coefficients of the two rounds of expert letters are 0.00～0.24 and 0.00～0.22 respectively,both less than 0.25.The Kendall’s W coefficients of the two rounds were 0.239 and 0.172 respectively（P<0.001）.The revised draft of breast cancer follow-up checklist,which was formed by experts,includes 3 first level indicators,11 two level indicators and 46 three level indicators.（4）A follow-up checklist was conducted by 6 doctors,32 nurses and 50 patients.The preliminary clinical test was completed,and the evaluation questionnaire was filled out.Further revision was made according to the opinions of the doctors,nurses and patients.ConclusionThis study is based on the participation of patients,guided by the Delphi method,and has a good scientific,normative and practical application.It can provide an effective tool for the follow-up management of medical staff,so as to meet the health needs of patients,improve the prognosis of disease,and further improve the quality of life of patients.
