Research Purpose:To explore the current situation of resourcefulness,cancer-related fatigue, perceived stress and cancer self-management efficacy in hospitalized colorectal cancer patients,to identify the main influencing factors of resourcefulness in patients with colorectal cancer, and to clarify the relationship between resourcefulness,cancer-related fatigue, perceived stress, and cancer self-management efficacy. To provide scientific reference for effectively improving the resourcefulness of inpatients with colorectal cancer and improving the prognosis of cancer survivors.Research Methods:Using the convenience sampling methods,332 patients with colorectal cancer who were hospitalized in the anorectal Department and Oncology Department of a third-Class General Hospital in Zhejiang Province from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected as subjects. The general Information Questionnaire,Resourcefulness Scale(RS),Cancer Fatigue Scale(CFS),Perceived Stress Scale(CPSS)and Cancer Self-management Efficacy Scale(SUPPH)were used. The data were processed by SPSS25.0,such as statistical description, single factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and so on.Research Results:1.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,350 cases of inpatients with colorectal cancer were surveyed,332 valid questionnaires were retrieved, the effective recovery rate was94.86%.2.The total score of resourcefulness in hospitalized colorectal cancer patients was(65.01±9.68),of which 102 cases(30.7%)had low level of resourcefulness.Compared with the average score of each dimension, the score of personal resourcefulness(2.23±0.35)was lower than that of social resourcefulness(2.44±0.37).3.The scores of cancer-related fatigue were(30.22±6.29),physical fatigue(12.72±3.83),emotional fatigue(10.79±1.60)and cognitive fatigue(6.70±2.33).The score of perceived pressure were(36.56±5.22),tension(20.07±3.21),and the sense of control(16.50±2.75).The total scores of cancer self-management efficacy were(62.32±9.60),self-decompression(21.97±3.88),positive attitude(33.64±6.19)and self-decision(6.71±1.45).4.Single factor analysis showed that age, education level, marital status,occupation,long-term residency, family per capita income, main caregivers during hospitalization, total time of be in hospital, hospital total number, treatment, metastasis and colostomy were the important factors influencing the resourcefulness of inpatients with colorectal cancer.5.The correlation analysis showed that the total score of resourcefulness was negatively correlated with cancer-related fatigue(r=-0.637,P<0.001),physical fatigue(r=-0.621,P<0.001),emotional fatigue(r=-0.398,P<0.001)and cognitive fatigue(r=-0.505,P<0.001).The level of resourcefulness was negatively correlated with perceived stress(r=-0.801,P<0.001),tension(r=-0.735,P<0.001)and loss of control(r=-0.661,P<0.001),while positively correlated with cancer self-management efficacy(r=0.656,P<0.001),self-decompression(r=0.488,P<0.001),positive attitude(r=0.564,P<0.001)and self-decision-making(r=0.490,P<0.001).6.Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that tension, loss of control, physical fatigue, positive attitude, total time of be in hospital, education level, cognitive fatigue, metastasis and colostomy were the main factors affecting the resourcefulness of inpatients with colorectal cancer, which explained 75.4% of the total variance of inpatients with colorectal cancer. The degree of influence on the resourcefulness of inpatients with colorectal cancer from large to small is as follows: tension, loss of control, physical fatigue, positive attitude, total time of be in hospital, education level, cognitive fatigue, metastasis and colostomy.Research Conclusion:1.The resourcefulness level of inpatients with colorectal cancer in China is lower than the middle level.Clinical medical staff should timely evaluate and formulate personalized and professional nursing intervention measures during hospitalization to promote physical and mental health.2.The resourcefulness level of inpatients with colorectal cancer was affected by tension, loss of control, physical fatigue, positive attitude, total time of be in hospital, education level, cognitive fatigue, metastasis and colostomy.Tension has the greatest impact on resourcefulness. Therefore, when improving the level of resourcefulness in patients, the above factors and their unique manifestations should be considered first,so as to formulate more targeted intervention measures to improve the level of resourcefulness.
