Objective:The ocular structure of patients undergoing vitrectomy combined with silicone oil tamponade may change after operation.Through IOL Master700 access to biological parameters, contrast the preoperative and postoperative parameters and explore the changes in various parameters, determine the effects of vitrectomy combined with silicone oil tamponade on ocular biological parameters,so as to further learn the relationship between the changes of ocular parameters and the change of eyesight in patients. It has certain reference significance for the treatment of cataract and other complications after vitrectomy and silicone oil tamponade in patients with retinal diseases. Methods:This self-controlled study was conducted in the Second Hospital of Jilin University.Data were collected on 24 phakic eyes of 24 patients who underwent vitrectomy combined with silicone oil tamponade in this hospital from November 2020 to October 2021,including the duration of silicone oil tamponade, the ocular axial length(AL),anterior chamber depth(ACD)and lens thickness(lensthickness,LT)before and after silicone oil tamponade, all ocular biological parameters were measured by IOL Master 700,using the above parameters to derive a series of derived parameters such as lens position(LP),lens relative position(RLP),lensretina distance(LRD).The patients were divided into retinal detachment(RD)group and diabetic retinopathy(DR)group according to the type of ocular diseases, the RD group is further divided into high myopia group and non-high myopia group according to whether there is high myopia, the experimental group and the control group were operated eyes and contralateral eyes respectively, and statistical methods were used for data analysis.Results:1.The parameters of retinal detachment group and diabetic retinopathy group were tested by independent sample t-test.There were significant differences in the preoperative and postoperative AL,LT,LRD as well as the changes of AL and LRD between the two groups(all P>0.05).2.There was no significant difference in the preoperative and postoperative ocular biological parameters between the operated eye and the contralateral eye in diabetic retinopathy group(all P>0.05).3.The postoperative AL and LRD of operated eye in the retinal detachment group increased by 0.73 mm compared with the preoperative, and the differences of preoperative and postoperative AL,RLP and LRD were statistically significant(all P<0.05).However,the parameters of the contralateral eye did not change significantly.4.The postoperative AL,RLP and LRD of the high myopia group in the RD group were significantly different from those before operation, while the parameters of the non-high myopia group had no significant change. The postoperative AL and LRD of patients with high myopia increased 1.45 mm and 1.42 mm respectively, which were significantly higher than the changes of postoperative AL and LRD in non-high myopia patients(all P<0.05).5.The duration of silicone oil tamponade was positively correlated with the changes of AL and LRD,and negatively correlated with the change value of RLP(all P<0.05).6.The changes of AL has a strong positive correlation with the changes of LRD,postoperative LRD and postoperative AL,but has a strong negative correlation with the changes of RLP and postoperative RLP(all P<0.05).Conclusions:1.There was no significant change in ocular structure after vitrectomy combined with silicone oil tamponade in diabetic retinopathy group.2.In the retinal detachment group, the axial length increased after vitrectomy with silicone oil filling, which is mainly due to the increase of lens-retina distance.3.The longer the duration of silicone oil tamponade in patients with retinal detachment, the more the axial length and lens-retina distance increase.4.Combination of high myopia is an important factor affecting the change of axial length of retinal detachment patients after vitrectomy and silicone oil filling.5.The increase of axial length and lens-retina distance after vitrectomy combined with silicone oil tamponade in patients with retinal detachment may lead to myopia shift.
