| ObjectiveBased on the theoretical guidance of traditional Chinese medicine, this thesis conducts research on the intelligent development of the offsprings of patients with threatened abortion after using Chinese medicine for invigorating the kidney and spleen.Through tracking the fetus status of patients with threatened abortion after using traditional Chinese medicine is collected and comparing the results with the control group, analysis is conducted on the influence of traditional Chinese medicine on the development of the infants’ intelligence,so as to clarify the effectiveness and safety of Chinese medicine in the treatment of threatened abortion,in order to provide reference for the application of Chinese medicine and the treatment of threatened abortion.MethodsAdopting a cohort design: among the patients with symptoms of threatened abortion who are treated with Chinese medicine and continue the pregnancies in the outpatient and inpatient department of the Chinese Medicine Department of Shenzhen Maternity and Child Health Hospital, those who meet the inclusion criteria and their babies are selected as the experimental group.Pregnant women and their babies who had normal pregnancy in the obstetrics department of Shenzhen Maternity and Child Health Hospital and gave birth at the same time were selected as the normal control group. The conditions of mothers and 0-6month infants of the two groups were collected through telephone follow-up,medical records, and on-site inquiries.Statistical methods were used to compare and analyze data and draw conclusions.ResultsA total of 233 cases in the experimental group and 233 cases in the control group were included in this study. In terms of population baseline data, the number of bad pregnancies in experiment group is larger than the control group(P<0.05).There were no statistical differences in the mother’s age, education level, occupation, smoking history, drinking history, number of births, number of abortions, number of drug abortions and other demographic characteristics,as well as the offspring’s feeding methods, early education and other parenting conditions.Regarding pregnancy conditions, there were no significant differences in the incidence of complications during pregnancy,childbirth-related diseases, gestational age and delivery method between the two groups. In terms of perinatal conditions, the two groups of newborns had no significant differences in gender, birth length, birth weight and neonatal disease incidence. In terms of physical development of offspring at 6 months of age,the head circumference and number of teeth of the offspring of the experiment group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the length and weight of the offspring at 6 months of age between two groups. In terms of the intelligence development of offspring at 6 months of age, there was no significant difference in the PDI and MDI scores of the offspring between the two groups. The Logistic regression model was used to adjust the mother’s age, education level, occupation, number of births, number of abortions, number of drug abortions, number of adverse pregnancies, and feeding method and early education status. After adjustment, the positive correlation effect value of the model Chinese medicine treatment and PDI and MDI score increased(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment for patients with threatened miscarriage in early pregnancy does not increase the incidence of complications during pregnancy and childbirth-related diseases during pregnancy, and does not affect the gestational week of delivery, the way of delivery,or the gender of the baby.2.Chinese medicine for invigorating the kidney and strengthening the spleen does not affect birth weight and body length, does not increase the incidence of neonatal diseases, and does not affect the weight, body length and intellectual development of offspring at the age of 6-month.3.The head circumference and number of teeth in the offspring at the age6-month in the experiment group were better than those of the control group(p<0.05),suggesting that the Chinese medicine for invigorating the kidney and strengthening the spleen had no adverse effect on the offspring’s physical development.4.The Logistic Regression Model was used to adjust the baseline data and showed that the effect values of the PDI and MDI scores of the 6-month-old offspring of the experiment group increased positively with the Chinese medicine treatment(P<0.05).It can be concluded that the traditional Chinese medicine may can promote the intelligence development of the offspring. |
