Research On Drug Utilization And Pharmaceutical Care Model For Parkinson’s Patients

Aims: Through analysis on the drug utilization of PD patients in a medical institution,the characteristics of its treatment and medication were discovered.The role of pharmacists and intensive monitoring in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease was explored,in order to establish the drug service model for Parkinson’s disease patients.Methods: Firstly,DUR was used to study the medication situation of patients with Parkinson’s disease,and the pharmaceutical care plan for them was developed and the whole process of monitoring was implemented.Clinical pharmacists served patients,nurses and clinicians.UPDRS,MMSE,HAMA-1,HAMA,PDSS,PDQ39 and other scales were used to evaluate the implementation effect of pharmacy services.Statistical analysis was performed by SPSS 18.0s.Results:1.The consumption sum of anti PD drugs has increased year by year,and the average annual growth rate of dopamine anti-metabolic drugs was the highest.Dosazid tablets,emery paraffin salate tablets and pyribedil sustained-release tablets ranked the top 3 in the list of DDDs.The B/A value of paraffin hydrochloride tablets was the highest,which reached 3.00～4.00,reflecting the tendency of drug use,while the B/A value of prakxol hydrochloride tablets was the lowest.2.In the age distributionthe disease incidence showed younger trend.age.In the disease classification,the diagnosis of PD with hypertension is the most,and the highest number of combined mental illness is anxiety.In hospitalization cost,the proportion of adjuvant drug cost in total hospitalization drug cost increased in 2018 compared with 2017,but decreased significantly in 2019.The total cost of hospitalization per capita and the total cost of inpatient drugs per capita in 2019 increased significantly compared with that in 2017.Dodrazine tablets maintained the most used drug for three consecutive years.The most used adjuvant drug was neurotrophic drugs.In the statistics of medication regimens,patients with early PD mainly took single drug treatment,while triple combination for patients with advanced PD.3.A concrete scheme of pharmaceutical care of PD has been developed and its implementation effect has been evaluated.It was found that there is an obvius improvement on the intervention group patients’ UPDRS Ⅰ,UPDRS Ⅳ,HAMD-17,HAMA,PDSS,PDQ39,MORISK,memory score and memory ability score,compared to the control group,while UPDRS Ⅱ score,UPDRS Ⅲ score,directional force,attention,calculation,language ability,longer hospitalization rate,fatality rate and economic indicators showed no statistical significance.Conclusion:1.The usage amount of dopamine substitute drugs and dopamine receptor agonists is still dominant,and the consumption of d dopamine catabolism inhibor is rising rapidly.The application amount of anticholinergic drugs and cholinergic receptor antagonists is relatively stable with limited market share.2.According to the statistical results,the incidence of PD has an increasing trend,and the age distribution is gradually getting younger.Meanwhile,the most PD complications are cardiac-cerebral vascular disease and mental diseases.The PD treatment statistics showed that auxiliary medication cost proportion increased after a decline.Due to the auxiliary drug prescription comment on the doctor’s advice intervention work in hospital.Early treatment differed from guidelines recommend slightly,with its simple PD sorting according to medical history span.The therapeutic regimen for intermediate and advanced treatment is consistent with the medication guidelines.3.The PD pharmaceutical service process has been established,including personalized pharmaceutical service based on patient’s specific condition,continuous communication with medical care personnel,medication counselling service for medical staff,as well as providing treatment access for clinical pharmacist to play their role in rational drug use better.4.The pharmaceutical service provided by clinical pharmacists for PD patients has a positive effect on alleviating patients’ non-motor symptoms like anxiety,depression and sleep disorders,improving quality of life,and increasing medication compliance.It also plays a role on avoiding adverse effects and improving the safety and effectiveness of therapy,and optimizing clinical treatment plan.Therefore,it is necessary to promote pharmaceutical services in the treatment of PD patients.
