Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of The Third Lumbar Transverse Process Syndrome With Blade Needle And Acupuncture

Objective:In this study,by observing the curative effect difference between blade acupuncture therapy and conventional acupuncture in the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome,the clinical treatment with better curative effect was compared and the corresponding objective basis was provided to seek a high safety,simple and effective treatment.Methods:Patients with the third lumbar transverse process syndrome who met the inclusion criteria in Optics Valley Hospital of Hubei Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2020 to December2021 were selected and divided into the blade acupuncture group（N= 32）and the conventional acupuncture group（N = 31）by the random number table method using SPSS26.0 statistical software.The patients were treated twice a week as a course of treatment Two courses of treatment: the conventional acupuncture group was treated 5 times a week,one course a week,and two courses of treatment were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,including VAS pain score ODI score and range of motion of waist,and SPSS26.0 software was used for induction and analysis,and treatment effect was evaluated.Results:（1）Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in VAS pain score ODI score and waist mobility between 2 groups in terms of gender,age and disease course（P>0.05）,indicating comparability.（2）VAS pain score: There were differences between the two groups after treatment and before treatment（P<0.05）,and between the two groups（P<0.05）.（3）ODI Score: There were significant differences between the two groups after treatment and before treatment（P<0.01）,between the two groups（P<0.01）,and between the two groups（P<0.01）.（4）lumbar range of motion: There were differences between the two groups after treatment and before treatment（P<0.05）,and between the two groups（P<0.05）.（5）Comprehensive evaluation of curative effect: The total effective rate of clinical treatment was 96.80% and 74.20% in knife-edge acupuncture group and routine acupuncture group,and there was difference between the two groups（P<0.05）.Conclusion:（1）Both blade acupuncture therapy and acupuncture therapy have good effects on the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome.（2）Both the blade acupuncture group and the conventional acupuncture group had better effects on VAS pain score ODI score in the improvement of waist mobility,which could effectively improve the quality of social life,and the blade acupuncture group had more significant effects after treatment than the conventional acupuncture group.（3）The clinical efficacy of blade acupuncture therapy in the Results:treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome is better than acupuncture,and the clinical treatment of high safety,worthy of further promotion.
