| Objectives Objective To observe the clinical symptoms and related indicators of Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation of heat retention type,and evaluate its therapeutic effect and safety,which is helpful to further explore the treatment of functional constipation.Methods 60 patients with functional constipation of heat accumulation type in the outpatient department of spleen and stomach department of Tangshan Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Hebei Province were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian decoction,and the control group was treated with Fusong(Macrogol4000Powder).Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.Before and after treatment,the general vital signs,blood,urine,stool routine,liver and kidney function,ECG of the two groups were detected.The TCM symptom score,ball club ratio,colony count,Hamilton Anxiety Scale score,constipation quality of life scale score,colon transit test were used as the evaluation indexes,and the adverse reactions were observed The patients were followed up to observe the recurrence and evaluate the long-term efficacy.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Objective to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation of heat retention type.Results 1 in the course of treatment,1 case fell off in the treatment group,2 cases fell off in the control group,29 cases in the final treatment group and 28 cases in the control group.Before treatment,the age,gender,condition,TCM symptom score,Hamilton Anxiety Scale score,ball club ratio,colony count,constipation patients’ quality of life scale score and colon transit test of the two groups were statistically analyzed,P>0.05,which was comparable.three TCM symptom score analysis: TCM main symptom scores(stool characteristics,defecation effort,defecation time,defecation frequency)and TCM secondary symptom scores(abdominal distension,abdominal pain,dry mouth and bad breath)of the two groups decreased,P<0.05.Both groups could improve TCM symptoms,and the curative effect of Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoctionwas more significant than that of Fusong(Macrogol4000Powder),And the symptoms of short red urine,the test,P >0.05,indicating that the two groups in improving the symptoms of short red urine effect is similar.Hamilton Anxiety Scale score analysis: after treatment,the anxiety scale scores of the two groups were decreased to a certain extent,P<0.05,the effect of Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction on improving anxiety symptoms was significantly better than that of Fusong(Macrogol4000Powder).5 ball club ratio and colony count analysis:after treatment,the ball club ratio and colony count of the two groups were improved to a certain extent,P<0.05,taking Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction can significantly improve the ball club ratio and colony count of the patients,so as to maintain the relative balance of intestinal flora.6 constipation patients quality of life scale score analysis,after treatment,the two groups of patients with constipation quality of life scale score decreased,after the test,P<0.05,take Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction to improve the quality of life of patients with constipation more significantly.Analysis of colonic transit test: after treatment,the number of patients with marker excretion in the two groups were more than before treatment,P<0.05,both groups can improve colonic transit function,and the treatment group was better than the control group.8 analysis of treatment results: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 89.7%,and that of the control group was 75.0%,which indicated that both groups could improve various symptoms of constipation,and Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction had more significant effect and higher cure rate.9 safety index analysis: before and after treatment,the liver,kidney function and blood routine of the two groups were detected,and there was no significant difference between the results after treatment,P>0.05,indicating that the two groups had high drug safety and no adverse reactions.10 long term efficacy analysis: the recurrence rate of the treatment group was15.4%,and that of the control group was 45.0%.The recurrence rate of Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction was lower than that of Fusong(Macrogol4000Powder),indicating that Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction had significant long-term efficacy.Conclusions The clinical efficacy of Xiezhuo Jiedu Tongbian Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation of heat retention type was better than that of Fusong(Macrogol4000Powder)group in TCM symptom score,ball bar ratio,colony number,quality of life scale score,anxiety and colonic transmission function.It can effectively relieve constipation symptoms,improve intestinal flora imbalance and maintain the relative balance of intestinal environment,It is safe and reliable,and has low long-term efficacy and recurrence rate.It is proved that
