Objective: To study the curative effect of acupoint selection based on the mechanism of wrist-ankle acupuncture on postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids, verify the therapeutic effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture on postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids, and provide theoretical support for clinical use of wrist-ankle acupuncture to relieve postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods : From December 2019 to December 2020,100 patients with mixed hemorrhoids who were hospitalized in the second district of the Anorectal Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected and randomized according to the length of stay using a random number table method Both groups were divided into two groups, the experimental group and the control group each had 50 people. The operation time of the two groups of patients was scheduled in the morning. The operation site was arranged in the operating room of Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.External resection and internal ligation of hemorrhoids. The control group was given conventional anti-inflammatory infusion, dressing change, infrared radiation, and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment after operation;the test group was treated with wrist-ankle acupuncture on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 7 days(treatment from the day after the operation). After the treatment, the patients in the two groups were treated with the visual analog scale(VAS)pain score during the first defecation and the 3rd,5th,and 7th day when the dressing was changed.,The number of people taking analgesics after the operation, the urination score of the two groups of patients on the day after the operation and the first and second days, the score of the wound edema on the 7th day after the operation of the two groups, the number of fecal impaction in the two groups, etc. The change in the treatment of postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids is clear based on the mechanism of wrist-ankle acupuncture. Results :(1)There was no statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups of patients at 6 hours after surgery(P>0.05).The VAS score of the experimental group was lower than the control group at the first defecation after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The VAS scores of the experimental group on the 3rd,5th,and 7th day after dressing were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)In the experimental group,43 cases are markedly effective, accounting for 86%,6 cases are effective, accounting for 12%,1 case is ineffective, accounting for 2%,and the total effective rate is 98%;29 cases in the control group are markedly effective, accounting for 58%,and 15 cases are effective.30%,6 cases ineffective accounted for 12%,the total effective rate was 88%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)Within 7 days after operation,3 people in the experimental group took analgesics, accounting for 6%,47 people who did not take analgesics,94%;control group 11 people who took analgesics,22%,and no analgesics39 people accounted for 78%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)There was no statistically significant difference in urination scores between the two groups on the day of surgery(P>0.05).The urination scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group on the first postoperative day and the second postoperative day,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(6)There was no significant difference in edema scores between the two groups on the 7th day after surgery(P>0.05).(7)Comparison of the number of patients with fecal impaction within 7days after the operation of the two groups. The number of fecal impaction in the experimental group was 2 people accounting for 4%,and the number of fecal impaction in the control group was 13 people accounting for 26%.The difference was statistically significant.Significance(P<0.05).Conclusion : Point selection based on the mechanism of wrist-ankle acupuncture can effectively and safely relieve the pain of postoperative defecation and dressing change in patients with mixed hemorrhoids, and can improve the discomfort of postoperative urination and reduce the probability of postoperative fecal impaction.
