Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Auricular Acupoint Pressing In The Treatment Of Tobacco Dependence

ObjectiveTo research the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint on tobacco dependence,observe the effects of acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint pressing on different dimensions of tobacco dependent patients.To investigate the difference between acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint,acupuncture alone and auricular point pressing alone,analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the three methods in the treatment of tobacco dependence.To provide clinical basis for acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint in the treatment of tobacco dependence.MethodsNinety patients meeting the inclusion criteria of tobacco dependence were randomly divided into treatment group,acupuncture group and ear acupoint group,with 30 cases in each group.The intervention measures of the treatment group were acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint pressing,acupuncture picking acupoints: Baihui,Yintang,Lieqin and Hegu,auricular point pressing picking acupoints: Shenmen,lung,stomach,endocrine,subcortical,sympathetic and mouth.Acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture alone,auricular acupoint group was treated with auricular acupoint pressing alone,and acupoints selection were the same as treatment group.The three groups were treated twice a week,with a course of 8 weeks for 16 times in total.After 1 course of treatment,the efficacy was analyzed according to the withdrawal rate,exhaled carbon monoxide content,FTND scale score,AUTOS scale score and daily smoking volume.Results1.Withdrawal rate and exhaled CO content.The withdrawal rate was 56.67% in the treatment group,30% in the acupuncture group,and 33.33% in the ear acupoint group.Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that the exhaled CO content of tobacco dependent patients in the three groups was significantly improved.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the acupuncture group,and there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the ear acupoint group,neither between the acupuncture group and the ear acupoint group.2.Scale score.Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that FTND scale score of the three groups was significantly effective,and there was no significant difference between the three groups.Kruskal-Wallis test showed that there was no significant difference in the improvement of AUTOS score between the treatment group and the acupuncture group,both of which were better than the auricular acupoint group.The AUTOS scale was divided into three dimensions of withdrawal symptoms,mental dependence and smoking causes,and the statistical analysis was conducted respectively.It was found that the treatment group was the best plan,and the acupuncture group was superior to the ear acupoint group in terms of withdrawal symptoms and smoking causes.3.Daily smoking amount.Analysis of variance with repeated measurements,Mauchly test of spherical degree(P=0.00),and Roy’s Largest Root test were selected according to multivariate test.It was found that all three groups could effectively reduce the daily smoking amount of patients.There was no significant difference in the speed and degree of daily smoking reduction between the treatment group and the auricular acupoint group,both of which were better than the acupuncture group.ConclusionAcupuncture combined with auricular acupoint pressing has a definite clinical effect on tobacco dependence,and the comprehensive effect is better than that of acupuncture and auricular acupoint pressing alone.Compared with auricular acupuncture alone,acupuncture can better control the withdrawal syndrome of patients,and auricular acupuncture can better reduce the daily smoking amount of patients.Acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint pressing can improve the degree of tobacco dependence and reduce the occurrence of withdrawal syndrome.
