Objective:To understand the knowledge of comprehensive prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and the application of appropriate techniques and the influencing factors of grassroots general practitioners(GPs)in a county-level city of Liaoning Province. It provides reference basis for further improving the ability of general practitioners at the grassroots level and promoting appropriate technology.Method:In this study,75 grassroots GPs in a county-level city in Liaoning Province were selected as the research objects. The test paper of theoretical knowledge of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment for GPs was designed by our research group on the basis of literature research to understand the comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment for grassroots GPs in the city. The Questionnaire on Influential Factors of Application of CVD Related Prevention and Treatment Technologies for grassroots GPs was designed by our research group on the basis of literature research to understand the application of appropriate technologies related to comprehensive prevention and treatment of CVD and its influencing factors.Relying on the Questionnaire Star platform, the examination papers and questionnaires were electronized, and the examination papers and questionnaires were issued and collected by the We Chat platform. The effective recovery rate of the examination papers was 77.3%(58/75)and the effective recovery rate of the questionnaire was 98.7%(74/75).Result:1.GPs in the age group of 41-50 years old accounted for the largest proportion,60.8%(45/74),in urban and rural areas of the county-level city.78.4%(58/74)of the GPs worked in community health service centers or township(town)health centers,95.9%(71/74)of the GPs were engaged in general medicine related work,41.9%(31/74)of the GPs had bachelor’s degree or above, and 77%(57/74)of the GPs had intermediate and junior professional titles.54.1%(40/74)of GPs have been in practice for more than 20 years.2.According to the test results of theoretical knowledge of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment conducted by the local grassroots GPs in this study, the average score was22.3± 10.4 points, and the highest and lowest scores were 54 points and6.2 points,it indicates that there is a great room for improvement in the overall knowledge of comprehensive prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.Among the 13 knowledge points, the bottom five of the average score and full score ratio of general practice were: graded management of cardiovascular disease, smoking cessation, prevention of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and emergency management of cardiovascular disease. Results of different age groups showed that the results of general practitioners in 18-30 years old group were higher than those in other age groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The score analysis of different professional title groups showed that the score of associate senior professional title group was higher than that of other professional title groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.The analysis results of application of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment technology and its influencing factors showed that only 45.95% of the general practitioners at the grassroots level may have applied the appropriate comprehensive prevention and treatment technology of cardiovascular disease recommended by the latest guidelines in their daily diagnosis and treatment.Multivariate analysis showed that the main factors affecting the application of comprehensive prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases included doctors’ perception of patients’ acceptance of such technologies(OR=13.816),whether they have received relevant technical training(OR=10.506)and whether doctors have a positive attitude to promote appropriate technologies(OR=19.370).The questionnaire survey also showed that the GPs believed that the average skill level of doctors was insufficient as the main limiting factor for the promotion of relevant appropriate technology.Conclusion:1.There is still a lot of room for improvement in general knowledge of comprehensive prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases among urban and rural grassroots general practitioners in a county-level city of Liaoning Province, especially the poor grasp of hierarchical management of cardiovascular diseases, smoking cessation, prevention of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and emergency management of cardiovascular diseases.2.Relevant appropriate technologies recommended by the latest cardiovascular disease prevention guidelines need to be further promoted. To further strengthen the training of cardiovascular disease prevention knowledge and technology and empower patients at the grassroots level is an effective measure to accelerate the application of appropriate technologies.
