| Objective: Two dimensional speckle-tracking imaging(2D-STI)was used to quantitatively evaluate the changes of left ventricular function in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction complicated with atrial fibrillation(HFpEF -AF)before and after radiofrequency ablation earlily.Methods: Patients with HFpEF -AF who were diagnosed and treated with radiofrequency ablation in our hospital from August 2019 to September 2020 were included in the study.Those with AF recurrence and loss of follow-up were excluded for three months.Patients who restored sinus rhythm were included in the study,and a total of 32 patients were included.Another 28 healthy subjects were selected as the control group.Transthoracic echocardiography was performed to measure left atrial diameter(LAD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),mitral valve early and late diastolic peak flow velocity ratio(E/A),early mitral annular velocity(e ’),ratio of early peak mitral valve flow velocity to early mitral annular velocity(E/ e ’)in the control group,the group before and after radiofrequency ablation;2D-STI examination was performed to measure GLS and GCS in the control group,the groups before and after radiofrequency ablation;the differences between control group and the group before radiofrequency ablation and before and after radiofrequency ablation were compared.Results: Compared with the control group,the LAD and E/ e’ of patients with HFpEF -AF were increased,and E/A,e ’,GLS decreased(P<0.05),while LVEDD,LVEF and GCS had no significant statistical significance(P>0.05).Compared with the group before radiofrequency ablation,LAD,E/ e’ were decreased,E/A,e’ and GLS increased after 3 months radiofrequency ablation(P<0.05),while LVEDD,LVEF and GCS showed no significance(P>0.05).Conclusion: In patients with HFpEF -AF,early LVEF was still in the normal range,but the left ventricular systolic function was impaired.Radiofrequency ablation can improve the left ventricular function of HFpEF -AF earlily,and can be used as one of the effective strategies for the treatment of HFpEF -AF.Compared with LVEF,two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging was more effective in the early evaluation of left ventricular function. |
