Traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure of Chinese civilization.It carries the history of Chinese civilization for thousands of years and has a rich cultural heritage.However,the general public at home and abroad,especially in China,lack a profound understanding of the rich cultural and medical connotations contained in TCM,which often leads to some misconceptions.The root cause lies in the lack of effective propaganda and popularization of TCM culture for a long time.If this goes on for a long time,it will undoubtedly be very disadvantageous to the inheritance,development and promotion of TCM business.Of this study is on the current status of the development and promotion of traditional Chinese medicine after observation and thinking,try to Compendium of Materia Medica of the classics of traditional Chinese medicine of materia medica system,basic knowledge of Chinese medicine,and drug information on the basis of information extraction and classification,combined with the analysis of visual information chart formation and standard,design principle,design process and design method,to establish modern and traditional mesh,A practical study on the integration of art and traditional Chinese medicine and the design of information graphics based on visualization.The visual infographic design of Compendium of Materia Medica is based on the technology and principle of visual infographic design,relying on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine to construct graphics and illustrated charts,and to express the context relationship,programmatic structure and information transmission of the design subject in a visual and intuitive artistic form.Exploring the visual information representation of TCM charts in the whole process of design conception and design method.Through design practice,this paper tries to establish a visual information chart to express the logic of the design subject with large information,complex content and diversified hierarchical structure,and hopes to provide valuable reference for such design.At the same time,through the design practice and exploration,we try to find the innovation points of crossover and integration in the interdisciplinary field,so as to seek the long-term,in-depth and multi-angle development of our profession.
