| ObjectiveThe Post-Discharge Coping Difficulty Scale was used to assess the status quo of the coping ability of stroke patients after discharge from the hospital and to explore its influencing factors.Method1.Expert consultation method: Through the methods of orthographic translation, back translation, expert consultation, and pre-tests,the coping ability scale after discharge is Chineseized, and its reliability and validity are tested.2.Cross-sectional study: non-randomized grouping, convenience sampling selected112 stroke patients discharged from a tertiary hospital in Wuhan from December 2019 to January 2021.The patients were prepared for discharge, the quality of discharge guidance, and after discharge. The 30-day post-discharge coping ability is evaluated, and correlation analysis is used to explore the factors affecting the coping ability of stroke patients after discharge, and ultimately provide a scientific basis for improving clinical discharge preparation services.Results1.Sinicization of the Coping Ability Scale after Discharge: The Chinese version of PDCDS includes a total of 7 items. The Cronbach’a coefficient of the scale is 0.892,the half coefficient is 0.869,the test-retest reliability is 0.951,and the CVI value of the scale is0.94.;Through exploratory factor analysis,a total of 2 common factors were extracted, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 76.584%;the confirmatory factor analysis factor load was between 0.635-0.880,and the average variance extraction(AVE)was 0.599 and 0.680,respectively.Degree(CR)is 0.871 and 0.854;2.Current status of coping ability of stroke patients after discharge: The results of this study show that the total score of patients ’ coping ability after discharge is 43.54 ±13.46)points,and the average score is 6.22 ± 1.92,and 14% of patients are discharged Re-admission occurred within 30 days, indicating that the overall level of coping ability after discharge was insufficient.3.Research on influencing factors:(1)Single factor analysis: The coping ability scores of stroke patients after discharge from the hospital are different in terms of main caregivers, hemiplegic limbs, hospitalization days, family monthly income per capita, and ADL(P<0.05).(2)Correlation analysis: The coping ability of stroke patients after discharge from the hospital is correlated with discharge readiness(r=0.394,P<0.01)and the quality of discharge guidance(r=0.245,P<0.01).(3)Multivariate stepwise linear regression analysis: six variables including family monthly income, personal status, hemiplegic limbs, expected support, hospitalization days, and guidance skills and effects entered the regression equation, which can explain 75% of the total variation in coping ability of stroke patients after discharge.Conclusion1.The Chinese version of PDCDS has good reliability and validity, and is suitable for evaluating the coping ability of patients after discharge.2.The overall level of coping ability of stroke patients is insufficient after discharge.3.The main influencing factors of the coping ability of stroke patients after discharge are: family monthly income, main caregiver,ADL,hospitalization days, hemiplegic limbs, discharge readiness and discharge guidance quality. |
