Objective This study compared the degree of fear and anxiety, the degree of pain, and the degree of coordination among children who received different treatment methods for primary caries, and explored a more painless and efficient method for the treatment of primary caries. Methods Sixty children aged 5–8 years old were recruited. Each child had at least two deep caries teeth with the same jaw and the same name on different sides, and a total of 120 teeth were included.According to the method of self-control,the diseased teeth on different sides of the same child were randomly divided into a chemical group and a traditional group,60 teeth in each group.By split-mouth design, the caries teeth on different sides of the same child were randomly divided into a chemical group and a traditional group,60 teeth in each group. The chemical caries removal method was used in the chemical group, while the turbine drill was used in the traditional group, and the composite resin filling was performed after caries removal. The Dental Subscale of Children’s Fear Survey Schedule(CFSS-DS),Venham Anxiety and Behaviour Rating Scales, and the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)were used to evaluate the degree of pain, tolerance, and compliance of the two groups during the treatment of dental caries,as well as the parents’satisfaction with the treatment.SPSS20.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.P<0.05 was statistically significant. The difference in CFSS-DS scale and Venham scores between the chemical group and the traditional group uses a paired sample T-test,the VAS score between the two groups uses a non-parametric rank sum test, and the satisfaction between the two groups uses a paired sampleχ~2test.Results 1.Compared with the traditional group, the chemical group had lower CFSS-DS,Venham and VAS scores and grades, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Parents’satisfaction in the chemistry group was higher than that in the traditional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of children with deep caries, chemical caries removal method compared with the traditional mechanical caries removal method can effectively relieve the anxiety and fear of children with treatment, reduce the degree of pain of children, improve the degree of cooperation of children, improve the satisfaction of parents, and is conducive to the smooth implementation of children caries treatment.ExperimentⅡ A comparative study on the effects of different methods of caries removal on air pollution in clinicsObjective The density and diffusion range of microbial aerosols in the clinic air were compared when different methods were applied, aiming to select a caries removal method with less air pollution in the clinic, effectively reduce the microbial aerosols in the clinic, and further control and prevent the spread of diseases. Methods The dental clinics of children who used only chemical caries removal method or only mechanical caries removal method to treat caries during the working day were selected and recorded as the chemical group and the traditional group.Ultraviolet light was used for air disinfection for 0.5h before dental treatment, and three sampling points were set in the middle and outside of the diagonal line of the clinic(with an area of less than30m~2).Air samples were collected 0.5h before dental treatment,2h after dental treatment, and 0.5h after dental treatment ended with air descending method. At the same time, air samples were collected at 0.5m,1m and 1.5m away from the treatment table.Cultivate for 48h in an electric heating constant temperature incubator at 36±1℃,observe and count the colonies.Compare and explore the differences in the number of colonies in the air at different distances and different time periods.SPSS 20.0statistical software was used for statistical analysis,The measurement data were expressed as?x±s,which were compared with the independent T-test.P<0.05 was statistically significant. Results 1.In the comparison of different time periods, the total air bacterial colonies 0.5h before the start of treatment in the chemical group and the traditional group were not significantly different(P>0.05);The total number of air colonies in the traditional group was significantly higher than that in the chemical group 2h after dental treatment(P<0.05);0.5h after the end of treatment, the total number of colonies in the chemical group and the traditional group was lower than 2h after the treatment, and the traditional group was still higher than the chemical group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.For the comparisons among different distances, the closer to the treatment center, the higher the number of colonies was,and the values in the chemical group were lower than those in the traditional group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion 1.The total number of bacterial colonies in the air in the two groups reached the maximum 2 hours after the treatment;the closer the distance from the treatment center, the greater the amount of bacteria in the air.2.Compared with the use of turbo drill burs for caries removal, the application of chemical caries removal method to treat deciduous tooth caries significantly reduces the microbial aerosol in the clinic and reduces pollution, which is beneficial to control the spread of infectious diseases.
