Clinical Observation Of Runzao Yangxue Decoction Combined With Paeonol In Treating Eczema Of Blood Deficiency And Wind Dryness

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of “Runzao Yangxue Decoction” combined with “Paeonol ointment” for external use in the treatment of blood deficiency and wind-drying eczema and the changes in serum IL-4 levels.Methods: 96 patients with blood deficiency and wind-dryness who met the selection criteria were randomly divided into treatment group 1,treatment group 2 and control group,each with 32 cases.During the study period,6cases fell off,including 2 cases in the treatment 1 group,3 cases in the treatment 2 group,and 1 case in the control group.The treatment group 1 was given oral “Runzao Yangxue Decoction” combined with “Paeonol ointment”for external use,the treatment group 2 was given oral “Runzao Yangxue Decoction”,and the control group was given oral “Runzao Zhiyang capsules”.Before treatment(0±2 days),the first week(7±2 days),the second week(14±2 days)and the fourth week(28±2 days)after treatment,the eczema area and severity index score(EASI),visual analogue score(VAS),dermatology life quality index score(DLQI),serum IL-4 levels before and after treatment,and adverse reactions during the study period were recorded and analyzed in detail,judgment of curative effect after 4 weeks(28±2 days).Results:1.After the treatment,the total effective rate of treatment group 1 was93.33%,the total effective rate of treatment group 2 was 79.31%,and the total effective rate of control group was 67.74%.The curative effect of treatment group 1 was better than that of treatment group 2 and control group(P< 0.05),and the therapeutic effect of the treatment group 2 was better than that of the control group(P< 0.05).2.After the treatment,the EASI,VAS and DLQI scores of the three groups were significantly reduced.The reduction in the treatment 1 group was significantly greater than that in the treatment 2 and control groups(P< 0.05),and the reduction in the treatment 2 group was greater than that of the control group(P< 0.05).3.After the treatment,the serum IL-4 levels of the three groups were significantly reduced compared with those before the treatment.The reduction in the treatment 1 group was significantly greater than that in the treatment 2 and control groups(P< 0.05),and the reduction in the treatment 2group was greater than the control Group(P< 0.05).4.All three groups have high safety.Conclusion:1.“Runzao Yangxue Decoction” combined with “paeonol ointment” for external use can effectively improve the EASI score,VAS score and DLQI score of patients with blood deficiency and wind-drying eczema.2.“Runzao Yangxue Decoction” combined with “paeonol ointment” for external use can effectively improve the serum IL-4 level of patients with blood deficiency and wind-drying eczema.3.“Runzao Yangxue Decoction” combined with “paeonol ointment” for external use is a safe and effective method for clinical treatment of blood deficiency and wind-drying eczema.
