Theoretical Discussion Of Director Qiao Fengying’s "Zhi Qiu Unit Therapy" And Clinical Research Of Wen Shen Zhi Ti Formula In Treatment Of Biqiu With Kidney-Yang Deficiency

Research background Bi Qiu is mainly characterized by paroxysmal and recurrent episodes of rhinocnesmus,nasal congestion,sneezing,rhinorrhea,or accompanied by itching eyes,tears and other symptoms of disease.In ancient books,there are also records of different nicknames,such as "qiu","ti","qiuti" and so on.At present,the average incidence in the worldwide can reach 10%-25%,and conservative estimate the number of Bi Qiu in the world is far more than one billion.The prevalence of allergic rhinitis significantly increased and under the interference of environmental pollution,psychentonia and so on,the disease rate is growing year by year;It is a serious threat to the patient’s quality of life,so it has become a health problem that people pay increasing attention to and urgent need to be solved,it is also the key and difficult problem of many ear,nose and throat doctors.Modern medicine mainly uses nasal glucocorticoid,antihistamine,antileukotriene and other drugs as well as immunotherapy for the treatment of allergic rhinitis.Although there are many therapeutic methods,each has its advantages and disadvantages,no radical cure yet.Chinese medicine’s study of disease’ etiology,pathogenesis and treatment about many theories all have detailed and profound records,applied to clinical often obtain good effect,especially in patients with allergic rhinitis relapse prevention and improve disease accompanied symptom concurrently with unique advantage.Therefore,Chinese medicine has been widely disseminated.Professor has accumulated rich experience in treating Bi Qiu over 30 years,and created "Zhi Qiu unit therapy",which has good clinical effect.In addition,the teacher thinks that the disease is mainly deficiency of Bi Qiu,especially it is closely related to the deficiency of kidney-yang,the deficiency of body Yang and qi,the body is not solid,thin air invasion of nose and orifices,become Bi Qiu,it is cure in the method of making kidney warm Yang and orifices.During the three years of learning with my teacher Professor Qiao Fengying,I learned and summarized the experience of her in treating Kidney-yang deficiency of Bi Qiu with wenshen zhiti formula,and made further clinical research and discussion of it.Objective The purpose of this study was to make a summary and discussion of director applying traditional Chinese medicine to treating Bi Qiu.In addition,I observed the clinical effect of the formula of wenshen zhiti made by my teacher in treating Bi Qiu with kidney-yang deficiency.Content and Methods1.Theoretical Discussion of Director Qiao Fengying’s "Zhi Qiu unit therapy" By referring to the literature of Bi Qiu,sorting out the classic cases with the clinic of Bi Qiu,observing the clinical effect and other aspects of work,under the guidance of tutor,I summed up tutor’s understanding of Bi Qiu and the treatment of syndrome differentiation.2.Clinical Study of Wenshen Zhiti Formula in Treatment of Biqiu with Kidney-yang Deficiency The 64 patients included in the standard were randomly divided into treatment group(32cases)and control group(32 cases),two groups at the same time using fluticasone propionate nasal spray treatment,treatment group at the same time to cure with wenshen zhiti formula,2weeks each course,and 2 course of treatment.The therapeutic effect was observed and analyzed statistically after every courses.Result1.Theoretical Discussion of Director Qiao Fengying’s "Zhi Qiu unit therapy" Mentor based on the painstaking study of Bi Qiu disease of TCM classics,seted up and use of Chinese and western,and symptoms,three guidelines for condition,not cure disease,pointed out that the pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis is closely connected with environmental,genetic and physical fitness,including pulmonary Spleen deficiency,kidney Yang deficiency and lung heat type common.Formed "Zhi Qiu unit therapy" in treating allergic rhinitis,which based on syndrome differentiation,combined acupuncture and medicine as the leading,and made use of various therapeutic methods.2.Clinical Study of Wenshen Zhiti Formula in Treatment of Biqiu with Kidney-yang Deficiency(1)There was no statistically difference in gender,age,course and other outcome of two groups before,suggesting that a comparison could be made between the two groups.(2)Clinical efficacy: After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment,two groups both have statistically significant(80.00%,53.33% and 90.00%,66.67%).(3)Primary symptom: After 2 and 4 weeks,all primary symptom and signs scores were lower than before,and treatment group 4 weeks less than 2 weeks,after comparison,difference was statistically significant,tip in the effect of 4 weeks in treatment group is superior to the 2 weeks.Comparison between two groups showed that the scores of each symptom after 2 weeks have no significant difference(P>0.05);after 4 weeks,two groups have statistical differences(P<0.05),treatment group’s effcet precede the other.(4)VAS score: After 2 and 4 weeks,two groups’ VAS score was reduced and 4 week’s lower than 2 week’s,they all have notable significant difference(P<0.01).Comparison between two groups showed that there were no significant difference in 2 weeks and the difference has notable statistically significant in 4 weeks.Indicated that treatment group improves total nasal condition better than control group.(5)Syndrome of TCM: After 2 and 4 weeks,two groups’ scores of Syndrome of TCM were reduced,and 4 week’s lower than 2 week’s,difference has notable statistical significance(P<0.01).Comparison between groups in 2 and 4 weeks has difference significance(P<0.05),indicated that treatment group improves Syndrome of TCM better than the other obviously.Conclusion(1)"Zhi Qiu unit therapy" is a internal and traditional Chinese medicine,acupuncture therapy,auricular application pressure,direct current drug iontophoresis and fell nine acupoint sticking of comprehensive treatment,according to the different symptoms in patients to treatment.(2)Wen-shen Zhiti Prescribe combined with Fluticasone Propionate nasal spray can effectively improve the main symptoms(rhinocnesmus,stuffy nose,sneezing,rhinorrhea and signs),TCM co-symptom and general symptoms of the nose in patients with nephroyang deficiency of Bi Qiu,and the treatment group curative effect is better,furthermore the shorter the course of disease,the better the curative effect.
