Study On The Law Of Ye Tianshi’s Clinical Practice Using Emotional Articles Of Blood And Flesh

Objective:This study aims to explore the law of Ye Tianshi’s use of emotional articles of blood and flesh for clinical practice in the form of data mining by collecting the case reports involved emotional articles of blood and flesh in the Medical Record Encompassing of Ye Tianshi.Methods:Medical Record Encompassing of Ye Tianshi included in the Chinese Medical Classics,CNKI and Wanfang database were served as the main sources of research.The method of traditional philology was used to review and sort the literature of emotional articles of blood and flesh in all previous dynasties and Medical Record Encompassing of Ye Tianshi.Case reports that met the inclusion criteria were selected,classified,sorted and then recorded into the excel form.Finally,relevant statistical analysis was employed to summarize the law of Ye Tianshi’s clinical practice using emotional articles of blood and flesh.Results:1.Ye Tianshi used human tissue medicines(human placenta,umbilical cord,and human milk)for 105 cases in total to mainly treat consumptive disease,postpartum,haematomesis,regulating menstruation,spermatorrhea,and varicella,with main compatibility of ginseng,prepared rehmannia root,Chinese magnoliavine fruit,indian bread,Chinese yam,Chinese angelica,etc.2.Ye Tianshi used deer medicines(degelatined deer-horn,pilose antler,deer-horn glue,antler,elk’s horn,etc.)for 245 cases in total to mainly treat consumptive disease,malaria,vaccination,turbid stranguria,postpartum,leucorrhagic stranguria,metrorrhagia and metrostaxis,and hematochezia,with main compatibility of Chinese angelica,indian bread,ginseng,barbary wolfberry fruit,malaytea scurfpea fruit,dodder seed,desertliving cistanche,flatstem milkvetch seed,fennel,prepared rehmannia root,etc.3.Ye Tianshi used tiger bone for 56 cases to mainly treat impotence,stroke,pain in the waist,legs and feet,paralysis and liver wind,with main compatibility of twotoothed achyranthes root,Chinese angelica,amur cork-tree,prepared rehmannia root,tortoise carapace and plastron,debark peony root,common anemarrhena rhizome,dried tangerine peel and mutton.4.Ye Tianshi used sheep medicines(mutton,mutton gum,internal kidney of sheep,etc.)for 112 cases in total to mainly treat postpartum,impotence,liver wind,abdominal mass,consumptive disease,and spermatorrhea,with main compatibility of Chinese angelica,twotoothed achyranthes root,prepared rehmannia root,tiger bone,amur cork-tree,debark peony root,tortoise carapace and plastron,dried tangerine peel,common anemarrhena rhizome,indian bread,desertliving cistanche and barbary wolfberry fruit.5.Ye Tianshi used pig spinal cord for 14 cases to mainly treat consumptive disease and spermatorrhea,with main compatibility of prepared rehmannia root,Chinese magnoliavine fruit,amur cork-tree,gordon euryale seed,Chinese yam,tortoise carapace and plastron,etc.;used pork loin to mainly treat constipation,consumptive disease and stroke,with main compatibility of tortoise-shell glue,donkey-hide gelatin,prepared rehmannia root and barbary wolfberry fruit,etc.;used pork tripe to mainly treat turbid stranguria,icterus and summerheat,with main compatibility of largehead atractylodes rhizome,light yellow sophora root and oyster shell,etc.;and used pig skin to mainly treat throat and consumptive disease.6.Ye Tianshi used donkey-hide gelatin for 412 cases to mainly treat hematemesis,consumptive disease,postpartum,cough,syncope with convulsion and metrorrhagia and metrostaxis,with the main compatibility of unprocessed rehmannia root,dwarf lilyturf tuber,debark peony root,cochinchinese asparagus root,fushen,processed licorice and ginseng,etc.7.Ye Tianshi used hen egg yolk,black-bone chicken and hen egg-albumen for 86 cases to mainly treat consumptive disease,syncope with convulsion,throat,hematesis,cough,postpartum and regulating menstruation,with main compatibility of donkey-hide gelatin,unprocessed rehmannia root,cochinchinese asparagus root,white peony root,dwarf lilyturf tuber,fushen,arillus longan,etc.;and used endothelium corneum gigeriae galli for 23 cases to mainly treat accumulation and swelling,with main compatibility of hawthorn,officinal magnolia bark,dried tangerine peel,villous amomum fruit,malt,golden thread and immature tangerine peel,etc.8.Ye Tianshi used tortoise carapace and plastron and tortoise-shell glue in a total of 170 cases to mainly treat the consumptive disease,spermatorrhea,haematomesis,pain,turbid stranguria,stroke,syncope with convulsion,and impotence,with main compatibility of prepared rehmannia root,amur cork-tree,fushen,cochinchinese asparagus root,twotoothed achyranthes root,indian bread,Chinese angelica,asiatic cornelian cherry fruit,common anemarrhena rhizome,milkwort root,Chinese magnoliavine fruit,tiger bone,Chinese yam,debark peony root,songaria cynomorium herb,glossy privet fruit,etc.9.Ye Tianshi used turtle carapace for 86 cases to mainly treat malaria,with main compatibility of tree peony root bark,common anemarrhena rhizome,unprocessed rehmannia root,debark peony root,peach seed,Chinese angelica,smoked plum,sweet wormwood herb,etc.10.Ye Tianshi used dried mussels and dried mussel glue for 49 cases in total to mainly treat blood disease,syncope with convulsion,consumptive disease,haematomesis and asthma,with main compatibility of donkey-hide gelatin,fushen,prepared rehmannia root,unprocessed rehmannia root,twotoothed achyranthes root,black bean skin,dendrobium,cochinchinese asparagus root,etc.11.Ye Tianshi used fish gelatin for 34 cases to mainly treat spermatorrhea and consumptive disease,with main compatibility of flatstem milkvetch seed,prepared rehmannia root,Chinese magnoliavine fruit,fushen,dodder seed,lotus seed,cherokee rose fruit,gordon euryale seed,etc.12.Ye Tianshi used sea cucumber and sea cucumber glue for 17 cases to treat hememesis,consumptive disease and spermatorrhea mainly,with main compatibility of prepared rehmannia root,lotus seed,fushen,glossy privet fruit,tortoise carapace and plastron,gordon euryale seed,Chinese magnoliavine fruit,Chinese yam,etc.13.Ye Tianshi used abalone to mainly treat metrorrhagia and metrostaxis and regulating menstruation,with main compatibility of cuttlebone,india madder root,finch eggs,etc.14.Ye Tianshi uses bovine bone marrow to treat exhaustion and spermatorrhea,etc.,with main compatibility of pig spinal cord,sheep bone marrow,cooked ground,yam,Euryale seed,etc.;and used cow milk to treat consumptive disease,cough,dryness,etc.,with main compatibility of ginger juice,white honey,etc.15.Ye Tianshi used bird’s nest to mainly treat cough and consumptive disease,with main compatibility of cochinchinese asparagus root,dwarf lilyturf tuber,sweet pear,adenophora,donkey-hide gelatin,etc.;used finch eggs to treat regulating menstruation and turbid stranguria,with main compatibility of cuttlebone,india madder root,abalone,etc.Conclusion:1.The functions of the emotional articles of blood and flesh in the Medical Record Encompassing of Ye Tianshi are mostly tonifying essence and blood,replenishing essence and marrow,cultivating qi and blood,promoting extraordinary meridians,warming kidney and invigorating spleen,moistening dryness and stopping bleeding.2.Ye Tianshi is good at adopting emotional articles of blood and flesh for the treatment of clinical diseases in various branches,such as medicine,gynecology,surgery,andrology,pediatrics,etc.3.The main lesions are usually located in liver and kidney of lower jiao,and the abnormal meridians.4.The pathogenesis is characterized by deficiency,and the treatment method pursues the mutual balance of Yin and Yang,Qi,blood,body fluid and essence.5.Emotional articles of blood and flesh is effective in treating disease syndrome such as deficiency of essence,stirring wind,and deficiency of extraordinary meridians.6.The medication compatibility is flexible,with joint implementation of coldness and warmness,smoothness and astringency,moistening and dryness.
