Objective: To observe the efficacy of infantile Tuina "vomiting method" treatment of pediatric cough due to Tanre. To explore a more effective and popularized prescription for children’s phlegm-heat cough massage. Methods: In this study,72 patients who meet the requirements of this topic were selected from the pediatric outpatients(6 months-6 years old)of our hospital.72 cases were divided into two groups by using randomized controlled method, the control group was treated with acupoint selection based on syndrome differentiatio, and the treatment group was given acupoint selection based on syndrome differentiatio combined with "vomiting method".After 2 courses(1 course in 5 days)of treatment, the score changes of the symptoms and signs of the two groups of children before and after treatment were observed, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups of children was compared for safety evaluation.Results:1.Among 72 cases in the study,6 were lost, results in 66 cases completing the test in total,33 cases in each group.2.The general conditions of the treatment group and the control group were basically the same and comparable,P>0.05.3.Observing the treatment results showed that the clinical symptoms of both groups improved to some extent. In the treatment group,15 cases were cured,9 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective, and 1 case was ineffective. The effective rate was 97.0%;In the control group,10 cases were cured,10 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective, and 5 cases were ineffective. The effective rate was 84.8%.The clinical effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.4.Symptom score comparison: Observation and treatment results show that after 2 courses of treatment for 10 days, the main symptom score of the treatment group is(3.0±3.54),which is significantly lower than that of the control group(5.64±5.35).The difference between groups is statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of secondary symptoms in the treatment group(1.42±1.95)was significantly lower than the score of secondary symptoms in the control group(3.48±4.17).The difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Safety evaluation: Treatment group : 33 cases of grade 1,accounting for90.9%,3 cases were relatively safe at level 2,accounting for 9.1%.Control group: 31 cases with level 1 safety, accounting for 93.9%,There were 2cases with level 2 relatively safe, accounting for 6.1%.Both groups are very safe,P>0.05,no statistical difference between the two groups. Conclusion: Pediatric Tuina "vomiting method" combined with dialectical acupoint selection to treat phlegm-heat cough can not only significantly relieve the main symptoms of children’s cough, sputum expectoration, but also relieve secondary symptoms, improve the efficacy, and be safe and reliable. It is worthy of clinical application and further promotion.
