The Clinical Research Of Applying Tonifying Spleen Qi Tuina Method In Treating Spleen Qi Deficency Type Of Pediatric Myopia

Objective: To observe the curative effect and mechanism for spleen Qi deficency type of pediatric myopia with the tuina method of tonifying spleen Qi.Methods: 60 cases of children with spleen qi deficiency type of myopia are enrolled. Using randomized methods to classify into two groups:Tuina group of 30 cases using tonifying spleen Qi method , control group of 30 cases doing eye exercises as treatment method . evaluate the effective rate and recurrence rate of the two treatment methods by statistic of the related records,including the comparision before the treatment ,in the middle of the treatment and after the treatment .And through the observation, research on the correlation between pediatric myopia and constitution of spleen qi deficency .Results: after treatment, the effective rate of the Tuina group is 96.67% (58 / 60), and the control group is 21.67% (13 / 60), tuina group is superior to the control group, but there is no significant difference through statistical processing, with P﹥0.05. Three months after the treatment, the recurrence rate of the massage group is 10.34% (6/58), and the control group is 76.92% (10/13). The comparison of the two groups in recurrence rate has significant differences,with P﹤0.01, Its own appetite, abdominal distension and pain, disease-resistant ability, mental state, defecate times and shapes are all correspondingly enhanced.Conclusion: this tuina method can improve pediatric eyesight, and inspire children's healthy qi, the recurrence rate of eyesight is far below those who do eye exercises.
