Objective:To explore the effect of antithyroid antibody(ATA)and thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)levels on pregnancy outcome in women with normal thyroid function after in vitro fertilization embryo transfer(IVF-ET).Methods:The clinical data of women who underwent IVF-ET in the first hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2019 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.According to ATA and TSH levels, the patients were divided into four groups:ATA negative,TSH < 2.5u IU/m L group(group A1 n = 271);ATA negative,TSH≥2.5u IU/m L group(group A2 n = 233);ATA positive,TSH < 2.5u IU/m L group(group B1 n = 79);ATA positive,TSH≥2.5u IU/m L group(group B2 n = 47).The differences of general data, laboratory indexes and clinical indexes were compared among the groups. Results:There was no significant difference in general information, number of retrieved oocytes, number of transplantable embryos, normal fertilization rate, high quality embryo rate, clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate, average single birth weight and average twin birth weight among the four groups(P > 0.05).The biochemical pregnancy rate of group B2 was significantly higher than that of the other three groups(P <0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that TPOAb titer(OR 1.003,P = 0.034)and endometrial thickness on the day of transplantation(OR 0.796,P = 0.014)were independent factors affecting biochemical pregnancy. Conclusion:TSH ≥ 2.5u IU/m L and ATA positive had no significant effect on the clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate and live birth rate after IVF-ET.Therefore,routine intervention for these patients before IVF is not supported, and more large-scale and well-designed prospective studies are needed.
