Objective:Selection of anticoagulant drugs and abservation of curative effect in elderly patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation.Methods:60 non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients treated with warfarin and rivaroxaban were selected, and were divided into elderly group [n=32,with an average age of(73.22±5.75)years] and senile group [n=28,with an average age of(85.86±3.31)years].The incidence of cerebrovascular accidents events, peripheral vascular thromboembolism, indigestion, skin mucosal bleeding of the two groups are compared.Result:Comparing the incidence of cerebrovascular accidents with warfarin and rivaroxaban therapy in the senile group, the difference was not significant(P>0.05);In the elderly group,a significant difference was found(P<0.05).One patient with warfarin therapy in elderly group developed lower limb artery embolism and was not in the senile group. In the senile group, the incidence of uncomfortable symptom events with warfarin therapy was18.75%,which was higher than rivaroxaban(3.13%),but there was no significant difference in the comparison,P>0.05;The difference was not significant in the elderly group(14.29%,7.14%),P>0.05.Conclusion:The elderly patients with atrial fibrillation treated by rivaroxaban have lower incidence of cerebrovascular accident and it is safer.
