Objective To compare pain in patients with young-onset(YOPD)and late-onset(LOPD)Parkinson’s disease and analyze influencing factors. Methods One hundred and forty participants who visiting outpatient and inpatient of the neurology department of the Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University from October 2018 to July 2020 were chosen. Then they were segmented into YOPD and LOPD tranches according to age and Hoehn-Yahr(H-Y)Scale.The general data were collected. The King ’ s Parkinson ’s Disease Pain Scale(KPPS),part 3 of the Unified Parkinson ’ s Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS-Ⅲ),Hoehn-Yahr(H-Y)Scale,Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),The Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD),The Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety(HAMA),the Epworth Sleepiness Scale(ESS)and Rome Ⅲ diagnostic criteria for functional constipation were used to determine the item of pain, dyskinesia, severity of clinical manifestation, ability of cognizance, depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, drowsiness and constipation. And further analyses of their effects on pain were made. Results The pain incidence and KPPS score of YOPD patients were higher than those of LOPD patients(P<0.05).Low back pain was more common in YOPD patients than in LOPD patients, and lower limb pain was less common than LOPD patients(P<0.05).The age,ESS score,HAMA score, incidence of constipation and the proportion of hypertension in YOPD patients were lower than those in LOPD patients, while duration of the illness were longer and HAMD marks were differential, and much higher than those in LOPD patients(P<0.05).The UPDRS-Ⅲ score,ESS score,HAMD score,HAMA marks and H-Y marks in YOPD patients with pain were different from patients who were not accompanied with pain, and the former is higher(P<0.05).The H-Y marks,ESS marks,HAMD marks and HAMA marks in LOPD patients with pain were higher than those in patients without pain(P<0.05).YOPD and LOPD patients with pain were both related to HAMD and HAMA score(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with YOPD have a higher incidence of PD pain and more severe pain than those with LOPD.The more severe the emotional disorders, motor symptoms and drowsiness are,the more likely they will suffer from pain.Clinicians should standardize the treatment of pain according to the type and location of pain in PD patients, for the sake of promoting the existing quality for the patients’ whole lifetime.
