Clinical Characteristics Of Patients With Early-onset Parkinson’s Disease In Population Of Xinjiang Uygur And Relevant Researches About VPS35 Gene Mutation

Objectives: to study clinical characteristics and VPS35 gene mutation among Uygur patients with early-onset Parkinson’s disease and late-onset Parkinson’s disease,thus proving evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods: A consecutive 16 Uygur patients with early-onset Parkinson’s disease and 24 Uygur patients with late-onset Parkinson’s disease were enrolled in the study and relevant data including patients’ gender,age,onset age,initial symptoms,MoCA score,UPDRS score were recorded in details.Peripheral blood of 5ml was collected from each patient for extracting DNA.Exon sequence of patients from two groups was captured using AgilentV6 60 M exon targeting sequence enrichment system and statistical analysis was carried out on relevant data.Statistical analysis was carried out using the SPSS software and P values< 0.05 were considered to be statistically significant.Results: the average onset age of patients with early-onset Parkinson’s disease was 35.88±5.536,average disease course 6.44±5.762,average improving H-Y grade 2.23±1.342,MoCA score 19.19±4.820,UPDRSII score 13.06±6.486,UPDRSIII score 19.63±10.551;the average onset age of patients with late-onset Parkinson’s disease was 58.21±5.942,average disease course 3.46±2.604,average improving H-Y grade 3.33±1.204,MoCA score 23.54±4.606,UPDRSII score 19.33±6.357,UPDRSIII score 30.79±9.404.In the aspect of gene,both groups did not have mutation in D620 N locus of VPS 35 gene.Conclusions: early-onset Parkinson’s disease occurs in an earlier age,with longer disease course and slower disease development;it is more common to combine with psychological illness like depression.There is no mutation of p.d620 n VPS35 among Uyghur patients with Parkinson.
