Objective: To explored the current situation of job burnout among psychiatrists and nurses in Guizhou province,and its relationship with anxiety,depression,social support,career happiness and general self-efficacy.Methods:(1)Cluster sampling of psychiatrists and nurses in 9 prefectures,prefectures,counties and townships hospitals in Guizhou province was conducted and a questionnaire survey was conducted.A total of 1267 questionnaires were collected.Self-designed "General Information and Demographic Characteristics Questionnaire" was adopted,with basic information including the subjects’ gender,age,occupation,marital status,children,education level and professional title,etc.The “Self-Rating Depression Scale” “ Self-Rating Anxiety Scale” “ Rating Social Support Scale” “ General Self-efficacy Scale” “ Occupational Well-being Scale of Medical Staff” and“ Maslach Burnout Questionnaire-General Version” were composed of the “ Occupational Burnout Questionnaire of Psychiatrists and Nurses in Guizhou Province”.Questionnaire survey was conducted among psychiatrists and nurses in 9 prefectural and county and township hospitals in Guizhou province.(2)SPSS23.0 statistical software was used for data entry and statistical analysis,and 2 test was used to compare the number of burnout,anxiety and depression detected between psychiatrists and nurses;The independent sample t-test was used to compare the differences of job burnout among different occupations and genders,as well as the differences of anxiety,depression,general self-efficacy,social support and career happiness among different occupations.Analysis of variance was used to compare the differences of job burnout among different ages,marital status,children,educational level and professional title.For indicators with statistical significance,LSD method and Tamheni T2 method were further used for pair comparison.Job burnout and anxiety,depression,social support,career happiness,general self-efficacy were analyzed by Pearson bivariate linear correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results:(1)The difference in the number of people detected in the three dimensions of job burnout was statistically significant.The detection rate of low personal achievement was the highest,which was 15.94%.Psychiatrists scored significantly lower on the burnout low personal achievement dimension than nurses(2.21±1.55 vs2.46±1.54,t=-2.731,P=0.006).In the three dimensions of emotional exhaustion of job burnout(F=16.367,P<0.001),cynicism(F=17.738,P<0.001)and low personal achievement(F=3.623,P=0.013),there were statistically significant differences in the scores of psychiatric medical staff with different educational levels.The scores of emotional exhaustion in male psychiatric medical staff were significantly higher than that in female medical staff(t=2.11,P=0.035).The psychiatric medical staff were divided into groups according to their professional titles.The scores of emotional exhaustion(F=6.085,P<0.001),cynicism(F=6.185,P<0.001)and low personal achievement(F=3.387,P=0.018)in the three groups were statistically significant.The low personal achievement scores of 50-59 year olds were significantly lower than those of 20-29 year olds,30-39 year olds and 40-49 year olds(F=7.038,P<0.001).The score of cynicism was significantly higher in the unmarried group than in the married group(F=6.90,P=0.001),and the score of low personal achievement was significantly higher in the married group than in the divorced group(F=6.51,P=0.002).The scores of emotional exhaustion,cynicism(F=10.09,P<0.001)and low personal achievement(F=4.33,P=0.005)in the childless group were significantly higher than those in the one-child group and the three-child group(F=4.14,P=0.006),and those in the childless group(F=4.33,P=0.005).(2)The average score of the self-rating depression scale for psychiatrists and nurses in Guizhou province was(49.54±13.23).The average score of doctors(47.31±13.57)was significantly lower than that of nurses(50.71±12.90)(P<0.001).The depression detection rate of doctors was lower than that of nurses,and the difference was statistically significant(2=9.925,P=0.002).The average score of the self-rating anxiety scale was(44.34±10.42).Among them,the average score of doctors(43.33±10.60)was significantly lower than that of nurses(44.88±10.29)(P=0.012).(3)According to the occupational happiness scale,doctors scored significantly lower than nurses in the economic income dimension(8.47 ±3.54 vs 8.90± 3.33,t=-2.114,P=0.035).(4)The total score of job burnout and the scores of three dimensions were significantly positively correlated with the scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale(P < 0.001).And the score of three dimensions of social support and the total score of social support were significantly negative correlation(P< 0.001);And general self-efficacy score was significantly negative correlation(P <0.001);And the total score of occupational happiness and the scores of five dimensions were significantly negative correlation(P < 0.001).After multiple linear regression analysis,it was found that SAS,SDS,subjective support,general self-efficacy,physical and mental health status,and value competence were all independent factors affecting job burnout.SAS,SDS,physical and mental health status,value and ability,work environment were all independent factors affecting emotional exhaustion.SAS,subjective support,physical and mental health status,value competence and work environment were all independent factors affecting cynicism.SDS,general self-efficacy,value and ability,and working environment are all independent factors that affect personal achievement.Conclusion:(1)Among the three dimensions of job burnout,the detection rate of low personal achievement is the highest.Compared with nurses,psychiatrists have a significantly lower sense of accomplishment.The score of emotional exhaustion of male psychiatrists and nurses was significantly higher than that of female psychiatrists and nurses.The low personal achievement scores of 50-59 year olds were significantly lower than those of 20-29 year olds,30-39 year olds and 40-49 year olds.The scores of cynicism and low personal achievement in the unmarried group were significantly higher than those in the married group and the divorced group.The scores of emotional exhaustion in the childless group were significantly higher than those in the one and three or more children group,and the scores of cynicism and low personal achievement were significantly higher than those in the one and two children group.With the rise of educational background and professional title,the severity of job burnout is aggravated.(2)Job burnout was significantly positively correlated with anxiety and depression,and negatively correlated with social support,general self-efficacy,and occupational happiness among psychiatric medical staff in Guizhou province. |
