Research Of Cicely Saunders–founder Of The Hospice Movement Selected Letters 1959–1999

With the development of medicine and nursing science and people’s attention to the quality of life,more and more medical professionals begin to pay attention to the dying patients,and more and more dying patients also want to be respected,hospice care has become an increasingly concerned field.Based on the world leader in hospice movement Cicely Saunders as the research object,through its analysis and volume 1959-1999 for her hospice care and understanding of the life and death,mainly from the perspective of narrative structure and interpretive understanding the volume were analyzed in the characteristics of language,writing,and the content,and show the letter writing form in reflect Cicely’s advantages in aspects of personality,spirit and thought,show the respect for life in the Cicely,a deep understanding of death,and the hospice career dedication and persistence,in Cicely,The most important meaning of hospice care is to make life live with dignity in the last moments.Moreover,it has been mentioned many times that hospice care is by no means "euthanasia",and the difference between the two is explained,which is helpful to understand the meaning of hospice care more deeply.In addition,through research,collection and reference to Cicely in hospice care in a hospital in the design,construction,implementation,and the use of palliative care on the precious experience,are first hand experience in clinical practice data,record a lot of dying patients the most real reaction,provides guidance for the development of hospice career,has the practical significance.The main content of this article is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research background,purpose and significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods,key difficulties and innovation points of this paper.The second part elaborates the typical cases in the personal letters collection of Mrs.Cicely Sanders(1959-1999).It mainly analyzes the key words heat statistics,narratology characteristics,hermeneutics of important concepts,as well as the uniqueness and innovation of her time,so as to explore the personal characteristics of Cicely Sanders and pay attention to her deathbed The original intention of the problem,the core idea of hospice care and the deep understanding of the lofty significance of life and death.In the third part,the author compares and analyzes the personal letters of Cicely Sanders(1959-1999)from the perspectives of medical academic papers and works,biography,evaluation and typical hospice medical monographs of Cicely Sanders,and then makes a comparative analysis of her personal characteristics in the second part The original intention of soliciting and paying attention to hospice care,the core idea of hospice care and the deep understanding of the sublime meaning of life and death provide further evidence and correction basis.The fourth part summarizes the full text,sums up the hospice medical thought contained in the personal letters of Cicely Sanders and its affirmation of the value of life,explores the Enlightenment of Cicely Sanders’ personal letters on the development of hospice care,and puts forward some experience,lessons and theoretical support that can be used for reference in solving practical problems.
