Objective1.Observation of the clinical effect of Tianchun Xifeng Granules in the treatment of tic disorders(TD)in children with spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity. It provides ideas and references for the treatment of TD in children with traditional Chinese medicine, and provides a reliable clinical basis for the application and promotion of Tianchun Xifeng Granules in children with spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity type TD.2.To determine the serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] levels of children with TD before, after treatment and in children with non-TD.By observing the changes in serum25(OH)D levels, analyze whether there is a correlation between children’s tic disorder and25(OH)D expression levels. To further explore the related factors that induce the disease and provide objective index support, and to explore the influence of vitamin D on the incidence of TD children.Methods1.Selected children with TD who were admitted to the Pediatric Clinic of Fuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2020 to January 2021,and based on the diagnostic criteria for TD in the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders(DSM-5),40 cases of mild and moderate children aged 5-18 were included as the TD group.Meanwhile,40 healthy children from Physical Examination Center of Fuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as non-TD group. The method of self-control was used, all children in the TD group were treated with Tianchun Xifeng Granules for 12 weeks.Yale comprehensive tic severity scale(YGTSS)and TCM Syndrome Scale were recorded before treatment,8 weeks and 12 weeks after treatment, and the curative effect was evaluated.2.Chemiluminescence method was used to measure the serum 25(OH)D level before treatment in TD and non-TD groups and after 12 weeks of treatment in TD group and observe and compare them.Results1.In this trial,40 patients were included in the TD group, and 1 case fell off,a total of 39 cases, with a falling off rate of 2.5%.Among them, patients aged 8-12 are the majority. There are more boys than girls, and the male to female ratio is 6.8:1.2.In this trial,11 cases were clinically controlled and 16 cases were markedly effective.8cases were effective and 4 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 89.74%.3.The scores of YGTSS and TCM syndrome in TD group after 8 and 12 weeks of treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the 12 th week of treatment and the 8th week of treatment(P<0.05).4.Comparison of serum 25(OH)D levels:Before treatment, the serum 25(OH)D level in the TD group was significantly lower than that in the non-TD group(P<0.01);the insufficient rate of serum 25(OH)D in the TD group was significantly higher than that in the non-TD group(P<0.01).After 12 weeks of treatment, the serum 25(OH)d level in TD group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01).5.During the treatment,2 cases of children had loose stools, and the adverse reaction rate was 5.13%.Conclusions1.Tianchun Xifeng Granule has obvious curative effect on children with tic disorder of spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity, and the medication is safer. It is an effective method for the treatment of tic disorder.2.Children with tic disorder have insufficient or lack of serum 25(OH)D levels.Vitamin D has a certain correlation with the onset of tic disorder.3.Tianchun Xifeng Granule has a certain effect on improving the serum 25(OH)D level of children with tic disorder.
